Using starch on our blocks is just my preference. I find that it makes my blocks lay flatter and they are less apt to stretch or fray. Thanks for watching.
is there somewhere else to download the free patterns. I download the first 5 but when I try to download the rest pattern 4 always appears. Please help
pattern four always appears when I try and download patterns 6 - 12. Is there somewhere else to go to download the rest of the patterns. I downloaded 1-5 patterns with no problem.
Because they're for difference parts of the block, hence they have different labels (C & D). After cutting the fabric, it can become fairly difficult to know which goes where, so they've broken down to be as idiot-proof as possible. Did you watch the rest of the video? They make it SO CLEAR where everything goes, so I'm unsure as to what "didn't make sense" to you?
wow the tutorial was just fab im leaning a lot with this wishes quilt along thank you so much im having so much fun making these blocks.
I love that block and you did an amazing job of teaching it.
Just a tip. I sew those trimmed triangles together for small half square triangle scrap block. Save them in box for whatever size they trim out to be.
Very good tutorial with precise instructions ~ thank you for sharing!
It never occured to me to paper piece half triangle squares to increase accuracy. No squaring up at the end. Brilliant!
Love this block!!!
Can you use the wonder clips instead of the needle for holding the seams down?
Lovely block, Kimberley, but why are you using allways starch?
