Whoa sounds like a lot of work you do, great work Adam Goldberg, I totally love your show and your family seem like a hoot! I loved the 80s and I was an adult but I had a great love for the movies. You are awesome !
I just started watching during the 2020 quarantine & LOVE IT!! I have 108 episodes on dvr & have purchased seasons 1 & 2 on dvd....the rest to come! Hilarious show!! 😊
I enjoy the "Disney" version of The Goldbergs. It's interesting that the real family had 3 brothers and no sister. Adam's interview was fuuny and interesting just like the sitcom. 😂
The Goldbergs is mostly about the difference between the 1980s and now, loosely based on Adam Goldberg's life, and highly fictionalized. It's about dodge ball, chalk-throwing teachers, and the absence of both the internet and PC culture. If it were just entertainment, we wouldn't get life-lecture lessons as the end of each episode.
I like how it looks an feels real growing up as a teen in the 80 s in PA it brings back so many memories an my family which I love an miss all the ones that are gone was in such a different time with all the changes the whole pop culture even tv from the 70s was major an my dad hated change an my wanted to be cool an be friends with my friends which made me feel she as just embarrassing me I also felt they put so much on me cause I was the oldest and cause so many fights with my 2 brothers so our house was never quite we thought yelling and screaming was just normal conversation
I love this man for giving me a show that's so funny but not cheap gags and typical American punchline humour. It's so heartfelt yet brutally honest and I love the fact they say fuck and shit and stuff even though it's bleeped it's still great and those clips at the end proving his life was that insane and his mom really does look and sound like that brings a sense of reality and makes it a show you can feel close to because you see stuff and think omg my family did that stupid stuff and what an amazing bunch of actors who actually look like a family which never happens
My wife and I have dvr'd every episode...we sit and watch at least 2 of them every night while we eat dinner together...it's our fix of The Goldbergs that we need every day...we have seen them all at least 25 times each and they never get old...my favorite "real snippet " at the end is when Adam is trying to get Murray to help him with the matrix printer....Adam tlls him he has a family to take care of and Murry responds to someone off camera "He's aggravating me the little bastard"...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA...LMMFAO...I say this at least 10 times a day and nickname some of my best friends "little bastert"!...lol...best show on TV ever...and I've grown up with TV shows since the early 60s
No one asked like, how do you get paid on a tv show? Aren’t they curious. All the approvals needed, is pay contingent on this. Staffers just get paid to be a muse. Doesn’t the family member have to sign off on their image to be used on the home videos etc. Those are the kinds of questions I had. The ? here are the usual and he answered most of it at the top of the interview.
Every season I dvr all the new shows so I can watch them and see which ones I like. When I watched The Goldbergs I thought it was great. My mom on the otherhand was just like, it's ok". I like that he made his brother Eric a girl because the full cast automatically reminds me of "Wonder Years". There's the grumpy father, an older brother and an older sister and the brother picks on him all the time and then his childhood friend in the first couple seasons being a girl.
I would love to see a non "Disney" version. Thats why I usually hate American family shows they are so disney everyone stays nice and innocent forever. Goldbergs is funny so a non disney version would be amazing
Adam, this show is genius & I LOVE IT!!THANK YOU, for all the hours of entertainment, especially during covid!! 👍🏽

Your stuff is the best and funnest material on TV today...thanks for sharing. Let's hope the "1980 something" world last for another 20 years.

This show I am loving (from the UK)
A wonderful lesson about networking, and helping each other even when it doesn't seem like it really matters.

Can you put the link to where we can watch the uncut episode?
Basically, write fanfiction and you'll become a tv writer

then watch Married with children
The Goldbergs is so funny
I can't believe he said he's just a dude, nobody knows! I feel like I know his entire family!!
This guy is probably so Hollywood probably a long way off from his loveable characters on the show
36:34
I'm so pissed that there wasn't a Sister
he is my neibor
Italy
If he says "like"..one more time...
Lol. He sure doesn't talk like a typical Philadelphia guy...he talks like he's straight out of Southern California.
Barry and Erica scream to much at each other......
He wastes money on selfish choices
Lol...I don't know why this made me laugh....but I am intrigued, explain.
