7:29 against the Missouri. If you had taken IFHE, then you had sunk her in no time. I know that because I have IFHE on my Mecklenburg and 40mm pen goes straight through the 38mm armor of a Missouri. In one of my last games, I made 45k in estimated 1 minute only with secondaries against a bowtanking Missouri. Well it helped that I went down very quick with my HP in a crossfire of 3 other ships and that Lütjens was active. IFHE and 40mm pen is the new 32mm pen, esoecially when you think about all the american battleships and all the heavy cruisers covered in 38/40mm armor.
I've been having good games with Preusen in a hybrid build. Accuracy in 3rd slot and reload in 6th, but both captain skills for secondaries. I don't have Hannover yet but this build icm with these buff might pull me over the line.

I think Hannover needs the Ohio's heal - it still just doesn't have the staying power at mid-range to compete outside of those situations where one enemy ship parks themselves 10km away.
You know I wonder how it'd go if the manual secondary thing of "have an enemy targeted increases accuracy the longer you keep them targeted" was generally a thing for main batteries. What I'd hope from such a change is that it'd make island camping less attractive and allow for ships to sail broadside more often without removing the punishment of a well aimed salvo against broadsiding ships. Let's say at 2 minutes targeting an enemy in a BB your accuracy is way better than what it'd be right now and at 0 seconds it'd be way worse, then find a middle ground and make it adjustable through skills and upgrades. DD's and Cruisers could just have a lower time to accuracy ratio depending on their reload/caliber.
It was making sense from the get-go German ships should have had this secondary buff to be obtainable from secondary hits...i am surprised it took them this long
It's less so about fire, more so the superstructure guaranteeing full pen damage from shells up to 16 inch. That significantly reduces the effectiveness of angling on German bbs. IMO they should have special saturation on the superstructure like french dds, o/w they just lose half of their HP 2 minutes into engagement regardless of angling.
I forget the name buts it’s in the Aslain mod back. It’s one of the dynamic ones with some customisation. To get it exactly like Pq you’re changing some of the default green-blue Coloring to white.
New Hannover in operations is just busted, if you time your main guns you'll have your F key back in less than a second. That, and, a 7km hydro thats active for nearly 3min makes this thing an absolute farmer against anything AI. 500K dmg ops in this thing are common
Shortly after launch I started playing WoT and while it was pretty good for the first patches the game got worse and worse. Around 2015 I was hardly playing anymore and then wows dropped and it looked good just like WoT did at start. By this point I was hardly playing WoT anymore but I knew back then what would happen. And today I occasionally watch videos about severe balancing issues as well...
Most bizarre thing still is that shots from symetrically mounted canons will have such idiotic dispersion values in their flight. Inter-turret.. mkay, but single turrets with multiple canons; just stupid

Entire point of going japanese tech tier for bb's was to have bigger guns but fewer guns, and wow already ruined this approach by giving 500mm+ guns on US tech tree. The nostalgia of picking a tech tier and having that specific tier is happily being turned down by wow, and they wonder why people abandon ship, fr now.
The Satsuma changes were a *massive* nerf. The change means it went from getting a near guaranteed proc of its combat instructions every 2.5 salvos, to needing 13 shell hits to get it. In theory it's possible to proc it faster, but unless you can land a salvo with 7-8 shell hits, you are going to need that third salvo anyway, and when shooting at range you'll only land a fraction of the hits, which makes it significantly harder to charge. It's only a buff if you are at a close enough range where you are already landing every shell. It's going to take an equal or greater number of salvos to proc, significantly more often than it will ever take fewer. And I disagree with the idea that new change "makes more sense'. The spirit of the combat instruction is derived from the idea of ranging shots, firing a salvo in order to correct the aim based on the fall of shot. In naval combat a miss on the first few salvos is to be expected and will be used to ensure better accuracy on the succeeding ones. If you fire a salvo, your spotters will get data on every shell, not just the ones that hit. I know it's stupid to complain about "realism" when dealing with a gimmick arcade mechanic in an arcade game, but the way the combat instructions used to work made a lot more sense from the perspective of actual naval combat.
Rest in peace Germany in WoWs. Some meme stuff like Elbing aside this is the most irrelevant nation in the game since they came up with Los Andes and Libertad.

Preussen with accuracy can be a menace. And reload is already amazing.

Treat them just like subs; run away and bunch up, half the team focus them down.
Their main guns are very inaccurate, just stay out of their boosted 2nd range.
