    love the vibe and journey with the build. its got me soo stoked for my first turbo build. goal is have it started when i make final decision on which of my cars to do first, and finished before my bday dec 10th. tbh i hope i have so much fun that i blow it up on my bday lol 5k isnt bad at all especially when it can be done for easily half that being resourceful like you mentioned.

    That's really reasonable for the end result. I'd like to see where it goes from here. After seeing it get built and driven I'm kind of invested in it.

    I had an 87 325 sedan in college… always regret selling that thing. It was a bone stock grandma car with a 5 speed… got it in about 2003-2004 for $1,200 with 120k mikes on it, and it was pretty damn clean!
    Now I need to get another one and find e30 guys in Minnesota because I’m no mechanic but wanna wrench and learn…
    Also have a 77’ 911 that was my dads that needs a little lovin.

    Hey man so I’m a little confused , is a super eta a different engine then the b27 ? I have an 84 325e and am currently trying to figure out if I need to do the head swap to the 885

    • @DENVERBEERANDOIL
      @DENVERBEERANDOIL  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Super eta was a 1988 model year engine only. It combined the b27 bottom end with the b25 head casting and engine management. Your early 325e has a 200 casting head and would need to be replaced with an 885 head.

    • @DENVERBEERANDOIL
      @DENVERBEERANDOIL  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have not, this car has the square connector though. I found a square engine side connector and cut it and wired it to the motronic 1.3 harness. It was fairly straight forward

      I found a cut body side round c101 and wire connected it to the engines square c101 from the eta motor I pulled and now have a removable adapter. Didn’t want to cut my body harness or the 325i engine harness. Easy peasy, never connected a wire before then😂 the internet is fantastic
