It's funny, I found this video right after I started a painting with pinkish lavender blossoms on redbud trees. Hmm. Wish I watched his 1st before I did my underpainting, but I did some things the way he did. Others not so much. It will be helpful as I finish mine!

If I had known you was bringing out the full tutorial I would have waited. I've yet to find a picture of yours I don't like. So as I'm and old pensioner I will have to pick the ones I do with care. Your brush strokes seem so effortless, it makes it seem anyone can do as well, but then magic appears and I'm left scratching my head. lol I wonder if I can do this with pastels.
I use tiny jam jars to put left over paint into. The kind you get when you go to a restaurant or B&B at breakfast. This remains workable for as long as you want to keep it. And I get some lovely colours if I mix similar bits together. Especially the white colours, Unusually end up with half a jar. Same routine with Acrylic paints.
I've been putting my unused paint from my palette into the freezer in a sealable container after each session and it keeps it absolutely good as new! Great way to prevent wasting paint. :D
