  • This is the 4th month update to the minoxidil and derma roller journey.
    I started combining minoxidil and derma roller as part of a 1 year experiment to see if it can have any effects on improving the thickness of my hair. So far I can clearly see the improvement, specially in my crown area.
    As some of you asked how often I use the dermaroller and when I apply minoxidil, I have included also in this video my hair routine covering all the details.
    Products used for this experiment 👇 (Tested & Approved):
    Derma Roller - increase blood circulation and collagen production in the scalp
    📌shorturl.at/rsGX9
    Minoxidil 5% - revives the inactive hair follicles, further stopping hair loss.
    📌 amzn.to/48gdkHN (LIQUID)
    📌amzn.to/49Iht8k (FOAM)
    Biotin (10,000mcg) - boosts the health of the hair and nails
    📌 amzn.to/3EDyXUQ
    As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. This is not affecting the product price.

    • @mohamedtahermannai5368
      @mohamedtahermannai5368 2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      You are right about that. It would be better if his hair is shorter. However you can notice the improvement when looking how darker the hair looks which means that his hair thickened as well as the his crown got much fuller even if he cuts his hair a little shorter.
      Between his hair doesn't seem too long compared to it's state before starting the process, about 1.5 cm longer that's it.
      That is just my simple opinion.

    Derma rolling or needling in general + minox works great, but it does have better results with finasteride bc you stop the main enzyme that affects male pattern baldness.
    Now. I've used finasteride for the past like 12 years and never had an issue. My test levels are even a little higher than normal (but that's just bc I workout with weights, no gear). Haven't had any side effects so far, but do keep something in mind, if they tell you you're gonna have a lower libido bc of it your libido will probably decrease. This mostly happens for 2 reasons: first one, because they tell you that it just gets into your head and becomes psycological, and second, because it gets psycological you'll freak out and mostly if you're tired, or stressed or drank alcohol or just have performance anxiety like every bro does (yeah, p0rn is a bitch, you're not supposed to be a stud with a rock hard cucumber EVERY single time, the industry just screws our minds) you'll get the heebie jeebies and your d will get floppy. This is not the finasteride, it's the fear.
    Many years ago the doctor that prescribed it to me told me "take it for a week", if your d just doesn't get hard then just stop and it will come back to normal, if all goes well you can take it for life.
    These are my two cents, if you're taking it you can go ahead a do some bloodwork and get your test checked, but also bear in mind that experiencing either low libido or getting a lil floppy a few times doesn't always mean it's the finasteride. Easiest way to test is to go get a nice "movie" or magazine if you will, some lotion, tp and have nobody around that could make you feel uncomfortable or pressure you. If your d works then the drug is safe, if it doesn't then it's not. Don't test that with your partner bc trust me anxiety and fear can play a bad role there, even worse if you're relationship is going through a hard time IT WILL AFFECT YOU.
    Peace bros

      This really helps it really does, and I have been wrestling with whether to go for finasteride or not. But I've decided I still don't want to, and I completely hear what you said brother, but I've read some worse claims people have with it on the internet, probably just hearsay, but my thing is, I'd rather go fully bald and shave my head all the time than risk anything down there, even if it's a very small chance, I'd rather not. And it's not even about sex, it's not like I get it a lot anyway, some of these claims had some bad stuff and even if there's a small chance finasteride might cause that, it would be incredibly stupid to do it just for hair. But thanks for your advice if I ever decide to take it anyway it'll be because of this comment. Cheers

      Your body needs DHT to be present, it has a lot of good effects on the male body, so blocking it is not really a good idea

    It’s better to wait a full 24 hours after rolling before applying minoxidil, otherwise you can introduce it directly into the bloodstream and cause worse side effects. Although this may not matter as much since you’re only using a .3mm and not going deep enough to bleed

    • @nignaggin1219
      @nignaggin1219 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      So if you’re supposed to wait 24 hours how would you do that if you apply minoxidil twice a day, or even once a day.

    • @ned_yah
      @ned_yah 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@nignaggin1219 Generally, you skip a minox session if you're rolling that day. Or apply minox in the morning and then roll at night.

      Minoxidil has at least an 18 hour half life, so it's all good to wait 24 hours to apply it after derma rolling.

      @ROME VR derek from the TH-cam channel "more plates more dates" stated it's good to derma roll once per week and use minoxidil on the days you don't derma roll. He's results is one of the best so I'm gonna trust him. He was damn near bald now he's hair is thick asf. He also doesn't take finesteride but that was mainly by choice.

  • @courtshocker

    another suggestion..
    much better you cut or shave it into very short hair. so the minixodil will penetrate more effectively without derma roller. it has more better result in 2 months based on my experience. i got a wide crown bald but i now its only a little spot in two months coz there's more hair grown and no more hair fall.
