GMT Games - Into The Woods - Learning Line-of-Sight

In this video I walk through and excellent article put out by GMT Games on their Inside GMT Game Blog. This article is by Dick Witaker (designer of the game) on "Seeing" Into the Woods. He gives examples of Ling-of-sight and how it works on one of the latest Great Battles of the American Civil War games, Into The Woods. I find that doing a visual walk through using the game board helps me understand the game better, and I thought I would share that process with you. If you don't have this game already, you need to get it now, It is a fun way to spend an afternoon (or more). Enjoy.

After Twin Peaks and Death Valley I just assumed the LOS rules would be simplified. But now I see they've actually INCREASED the complexity! I think I'll just wait til "GBACW: Battle for the Flat Plain" comes out!

The example 'Fire Through a Fiedl and Field boundary Shared Hexside' what is the difference between this and the first example. In the first example the union did not have the 1- DRM but the CSA did have the -1 DRM now it is opposite?
