I love that most of us go to Ikea for our sewing storage and tables. I wish mine was as neat as yours 😀

Such a lovely sewing space Tilly! I particularly like the plant pot for cutting tools and the rolling fabric idea - definitely stealing those for when I move house in a few weeks and have some more space to sew :) I'm also hopefully going to be getting a storage trolley for sewing bits which I am far too irrationally excited about!
My personal tip (as someone who doesn't have much storage space) is that I have a long thin pencil case which I use to store my bobbins. It means they're not rattling around in my sewing box and it's easy to just grab and pull out the bobbins as needed.

I use two metal filing cabinets that I painted and put strippable wallpaper on the front for my fat quarters. I use cubbies from Target for clothing fabric. I use totes for quilting fabric. I use hanging racks for thread. An organizer from Michael's for scissors, pens, markers, rotary cutters, and gloves, and seam rippers, of course. If I could attach pictures, I would show you.

It's so lovely and organized. I'm going to try the roll up method for fabric storage. xx

    1. Love the name of your channel. 2. You are adorable. 3. Love the dress. I wear that style a lot! 4. I’m so reluctant to hang things on the walls (dumb, I know) but I love the metal thing over the desk. I[m going to do that, too. 5. I like the elastic around the rolled fabric. I’ve got a lot bigger stash as I do mostly quilting these days. I fold the fabric so that it’s about 5-6” wide and stack it by color. But with precuts, I keep them together still since that inspire me more that way.

I have a fold up table which extends the width of my sewing table so it acts as a larger cutting table.

I keep them in a bag and then make a pillow and donate to the animal shelters 😊 for bigger scraps I save them in a container for quilting

I keep going between rolling out wrapping on board for my fabrics. The smaller rolls disappear in my cupboard. What I wondered was where are your scraps of do you throw them away?

Where did you get the pots from your hanging rail. I need something like that for my sewing room
