This video was inspired be the incredible Rhinestone covered designs I saw by David Koma (Fall 2022 Ready To wear)
When I went to Benjamin's Shop (Imperial Trim and Bead) I saw rolls of iron on rhinestone panels and wanted to see if this could possible be a great hack to achieve the look!
I will show you all the little tips and tricks that help this come together very fast.
TIP!! Cut the rhinestone panels as close to the rhinestones as you can. If you have too much of the clear backing visible on either side of the rhinestone, your hair may get stuck a bit in it.

Following! Tons of ideas after seeing this but, like the others have asked... any way to adhere them without a heat press, as obviously an iron won't work? And you may not care for the fit of the jeans but they looked fab on you 👍🏻🤩!

So many great ideas! I could see using my Cricut to make letters or shapes on paper then trace them onto the back of the rhinestone sheet and hand cut out and apply to the garment to make customized rhinestone appliqués. You can always go back in and add additional gems by hand. My favourite garment from your video has to be the jeans. They have such a great vibe. I think I know what might have happened with your parchment paper. It looks like you used freezer paper accidentally. Freezer paper looks exactly like parchment paper but it has a thin layer of plastic on one side which melts under heat. I love freezer paper for appliqués and quilting specifically for its sticking quality. Parchment paper is truly non-stick and works well, but your towel works too, and you already have it.
Yeah, definite difference between Parchment paper and Freezer/Waxed paper. If you see a shiny surface of the paper, there is a wax or soybean/paraffin wax on the paper and not meant for heat.

Hey Orly! I love all the looks they came out great! Also use a Teflon sheet with the heat press. That works the best it doesn’t stick to anything.💜
I agree! Teflon is the way to go.
Butcher paper and teflon pillow helps balance fabric
I was literally just going to say that. I use Teflon sheets I also often use heat resistant tape (really cheap. Can get it on Amazon) which I figure you could use to hold The rhinestones on this case. (I usually use it to line up sublimation bits).

Try heat resistant tape next time! I use it to hold sublimation prints in place on tshirts and you can get it on Amazon.
