Non American here. That series was the best I've seen in years. Straightforward with intense action, in depth story, free from all the political and woke crap. All the actors, Chris Pratt, acting performance was superb. Each episode got me stuck to my seat, wanting more. Thank you for such a break from the crap today on media. Keep it up! I read all of Carr’s books (outstanding) and I know how people say the book is always better than the movie/tv show. Unfortunately, their right. So happy to hear he’s in the process of writing his next one. Can’t wait!

I loved the book. As a Frenchman, still grateful for the sacrifice of the boys who landed in Normandy, not so long ago on a historical scale, I’m very happy to see that the true spirit of America is still alive and kicking!

I recently binged the show the other week. It was awesome. Not a single hint of wokism, but neither was their any clear anti-wokism. The show never brings up politics, there’s no mention of lgbt or CRT or systemic racism etc. It’s just a pure action show surrounding a soldier who lost both his family down range and his family back home. And that’s why the left is so pissed. It’s real and woke-free

Google it. I can't even fully define it as it is much more broad and very confusing to most people but the one thing it does not encompass is conservative views. I just watched The Terminal List for the second time Yesterday. Absolutely worthwhile. I'm an old Marine who appreciates a good action movie that gets the military culture and details right.

They are in Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. My Dad was born and raised on the Dalhousie Estate in Scotland. Laird Dalhousie circa 1860's was Governor General of Canada. In Scotland we were just the local crofters/peasant folk.

The Terminal List is a great story (be it the book or movie) because it tells a basically simple story. Bad people do bad things to a good man and the good man sets about settling the score. The bad guys are bad because of their actions not because of any specific political beliefs or affiliation. There are politicians in the story but we are never told which party they represent. Also, the political beliefs of the good guys are never specified.
When the reviewers say this is a right wing fantasy it is because they are projecting their beliefs that the bad guys in the story are the left wing. What does that tell us about the reviewers and their politics?

Execs know it isn't selling, and the dollar is ultimately more important than fake virtue points. This was a really fun show. Even if, like me, you don’t know the military terminology, it’s still easy to follow. Also, the female roles were well-written, the journalist role was fairly sympathetic, and the show was clear that there could be bad guys within law enforcement, military, and politics. Don’t know what’s “right-wing” about that.

You know that mentioning at the end of the movies regarding fictious events and characters? Well I think the show just hit home and the wokies freaked out. Sometimes the impossible proves to be the possible. Just saying...
It's a propaganda machine we'll find a name for later in history books but for now, it's important to understand that 95% of all movies and shows people tend to watch day in day out after work are only showed to the audience because they surrendered to this agenda. I will be buying and reading all of Carr' s novels. It was the best picture adaptation of a book I have ever seen, and I'm close to 70 years old. The heck with the critics, they rarely laud anything worth watching.
you’re in for a treat. i’ve read all five of his novels front to back twice and stopped watching the series on the first episode because it just didn’t do his stellar writing justice.

As an Army SF vet we usually joking that during the Seal's hell week, they have to finish the script of their first book for when they retired later and there are their agents phone number in their dog tag, BUT I personally like this guy since I read his first book. I didn't have to gritting my teeth with cliffhanger and had to wait years and years like with GRRM.
Love the show as well. Not every shows need to brown-nosing some people and they have to start taking this as it is. A show.
I bet no objection will be made if the MC has a scene talking about how he identified himself as a unicorn in a human body for instance.
The funny thing is other SOF units love to poke fun at SEALS ,

I watched all of it in 1 night! I just couldn't stop watching. It truly felt like the old days when movies were actually not political crap. I was at the edge of my seat for the majority of the episodes. Chris was the perfect guy to play in it! Same with Top Gun, felt like the old days. No politics, no woke stuff, just good movies! I hope we will see more being released because it kinda feels like coming home after having been away for a decade!

"The terminal list" is probably the best military based show in forever. If you haven't watched it yet, I defo recommend it! Ignore the critics, if you don't like the first episode, so be it, but I highly doubt that will be the case ;)

The Terminal List takes its place alongside Deadwood, Bosch, The Wire, Goliath, and Justified as one of the best series to ever be produced. It's the writing, the production, the acting, and the ability to keep a person riveted in their seat and be believable. Chris Pratt has turned into quite the dramatic actor and it's great to see someone with his talent picking up the torch as an "action hero" in the same breath as Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis. I can't wait for the next season.

Frenchman here and I loved the show. Chris Pratt is really a great actor and the story is really heart breaking. I wish there was this kind of patriotism here in France. Here, if you have a french flag at your house/office, you're called a fascist or a far right-wing....Very sad....😑

The sound design of the show is inaccurate whenever they reload new magazines. They sound empty. A real loaded magazine has a different pitch to it.
It's honestly some of the best action I've seen in years, from all the lame watered down content. It's like the left forgot what good exciting or original content is because they're invested in fantasies that aren't objective reality.

I like adventure and action movies. I like explosions, revenge, clever dialogue when besting the enemy. I do not look for political statements. The only people offended were those who were probably some embodiment of one of bad guys in the film.
