This goofball very well might have stolen a piece of Godwyn's body and tried to graft it, only to discover that it was ridden with Deathblight and discarded it into the castle moat where it grew into a second corpse of Godwyn that has since then begun to tear up the foundations under the castl.
His castle being the first major area in the game, I very much expected the game to have an atmosphere more organic and … dark than bloodborne, with all the hanging bodies, surgery themed enemies and even the creepy ambient music , I actually felt uncomfortable in his fortress . But the later areas seemed much more toned down
If there are any four themes that make me want to hear your take on them, then those would be Fortissax's, Rykard's, Morgott's and Maliketh's. The moment I get to listen to these I will be able to get a good nights sleep.
watching someone else play this fight is probably what got me into fromsoft games entirely. his design is all severed arms and axes, it begs you to connect the dots when you see the dragon head just laying there. your first time seeing it, pinballing between "YES STICK YOUR HAND IN THERE" and "jesus christ he's actually gonna do it" is just magical. what a world
Godrick’s themes being so disjointed and the choir being multiple different tones makes sense for his character Another thing if you didn’t notice, in the second phase not only does Godricks 1,2,3,4 change to 5,6,7,8 but the dragons theme of power is also layed over top of the beginning signifying the grafting of the dragon.
