Just a suggestion..a couple of simple pallet jacks would be helpful for not only in positioning this piece of equipment, but also in your storage building. Using them to move your pellets pallets around and maybe one located up on the mezzanine to move your pallets in the overflow storage to utilized all of that area.
Brutus is hilarious. He would notice a plastic bag blowing across the pasture 300 yards away but didn't realize he was about to get smacked by an 8 ft piece of roofing.
Brutus is so cute playing with the steers LOL. Brutus is a "GENTLE GIANT"!!! So proud of you Al and Gina for all that you did for this cattle chute and it ALL looks so awesome. Here comes the chow kids go for it.
Editing video footage that was shot over several hours or days into a single event is one of the things that makes your channel so exceptional. Sometimes that means having continuity issues like white equipment in the background turning yellow or things like that. These are the easter eggs that keep us coming back, Thanks for taking time to be a great storyteller. 🦃

Great job Gina in getting the lights to work. They are beautiful. Brutus is so playful and gentle with all the other animals. You are blessed with a wonderful LGD.
Your farm looks amazing! Your videos haven't popped up in my feed for a long time. The progress you have made is unbelievable! Looking forward to catching up.
If you guys got a section or two of scaffolding with a railing set and adjustable legs, that would probably help a lot and alleviate some of Gina's concerns.
The chute has a home now and it will be so convenient for you and for the vet. It seems like times you need to use something like this it will be raining or snowing. Now you will be protected from the elements. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

The shoot looks fantastic as always, job well done, Al and Gena. And your cattle are all pretty cows. You should have pretty babies in the spring. Can't wait!
This was a super couple of days project (and video) wise. The cattle shoot house is complete; one more project down. The fence post lighting problem discovered and fixed making that sub task complete save one fence post. And, it wasnt a costly fix in either money or time! - I know you listed off a number if upcoming things in order but heck, I dint remember them. For me, the next video will be a whole new world.

Good evening, Juergen - we were fortunate last week to finally have our drought broken - after two months of no rain we got about two inches. I'll bet the snow is beautiful!
Good morning Modern Steaders! 53 degrees in South Texas this morning. Yesterday was too warm for this time of year! Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
This time of year, before the big snows, in Northern New Hampshire, I liked to move my compost piles. The compost would heat up every time I moved the pile, scoop by scoop.

Love love love your show! I was just thinking about future projects that you might consider. Speaking from an 82-year-old woman I believe your next project should be adding a bedroom on the bottom floor of your home while you’re young and have the strength. Remember the stairs might become a hazard in your later years. Also…you might consider an equipment garage and perhaps a covered patio.

Yep, yellow. So, we know it's not a Kubota.
It's called Yankee Thrift. A term that describes the frugal and resourceful nature of New Englanders. Using 2 or more sheets to make one. Love it.

I like that you used the leftover tin Al cause we all have leftover tin after a project it doesnt always have to be one long piece...use up what we have...😊
I just worry about the bare metal that's left after the cut - without some sort of paint to touch it up, rust will form in the future...
