God gifted him with the ability to deliver His Word powerfully. When I show someone a sermon by Paul Washer and they've never heard of Paul Washer, I love to see their reaction, especially people who I know are saved and they know their God's child, but they have this look like they've heard the Gospel for the first time ever. I always tell them, "You have now been Paul Washer'd, you are now in the know."

@@Lonesoul9791 Amen! That's awesome to hear. Glory to God! We need more Paul Washer, Adrian Rogers, Charles Lawson, Voddie Baucham type of pastors in pulpits all over America. It's sad that mainstream Christianity is what the lost believes is Christianity, and it's not. It's not motivational seminars and rock concerts and flashy lights, and send me your money and God will make you rich. It's none of that.
The church is not a showboat, it's a battleship. Souls are at stake, and the counterfeit christians, the joy boys, are out here making a mockery of the Gospel, promising people nonsense that God didn't promise, constantly wanting money, constantly twisting scripture, they can't get enough to fill their bottomless holes. It's a sin sick world and the only sin today is calling sin, sin. It's a relief to hear the real ones preach, the ones you know are anointed and chosen by God to represent Him.
@@bobbydean5449 Yes, you are right. And the other thing PDW does is send folks always back to scripture. In the first year after I heard that first sermon by him, I watched every sermon by him that I could find. I found myself saying, sometimes even in prayer, “Brother Washer says…” but now I know where scriptures says things, and I know how to look for things in the Bible. I now say, “The Word says…”
I listen to several if the preachers you mentioned, and I also listen to old sermons by Charles Spurgeon and am reading the puritan writers that he recommends like John Flavel, John Owen, John Bunyan, Jonathan Edwards, and Richard Sibbes. I struggle with some of the older writings, but it is a cultivated taste, I think. PDW also encourages folks to stop wasting time with distractions and frivolous things, and I pretty much have. I work 10-12 hour shifts 5 days a week, and on breaks I often scroll through FB or YT for quick scriptures and reflections on Christian things. Thanks so much for your comments today.
This is a refreshing video. I've been struggling with how to make my Sunday School class more appealing. Most college-age people in our area seem to not care about small group Bible studies. I think some of them wouldn't even come if I paid them to. But then I thought, what if all the effort on making it appealing was just done away with, so I could focus more on the lesson itself....after all, people who come are people who want to study and pray together. I can't compete with the world when it comes to vain entertainment, so I might as well work hard in an area they can't best me at: preaching the truth and having communion with God in prayer with other believers.
The call to be set apart is what makes the Church a sanctuary in a fallen world.

Paul washer is the Titus to whom apostle Paul wrote, " But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine."
Too bad Washers mixes doctrine. It sounds good because he sounds like he is about to break down and cry with every word. All Calvanist are false in so many ways.

What about the Spirit giving witness and the fruit that remains ?
If my life depended on studying Gods word than the first 14hundred years at least of Christian’s who never had a Bible and only heard it preached must have perished. What about Gods persevering me? That’s not done by my reading the Bible, that’s done by God.
I mean if church history has taught us anything it’s that when the church fails to have access to a Bible that corruption and evil abounds.

There was special revelation given to men before to know about God, and to know His will.
Urim and Thummmin, dreams and visions, appearances of the angel of the Lord, ministry of the prophets, signs and wonders.
The Lord will always save those who are His.
Now look at the sacrifices made, over many years so we can all have the Bible, so when you say they didn't need Scripture, it was all leading up to when we would all have it.
Now we are commanded to show ourself approved 2nd Tim. 2:15.
The Gospel is the means in the church age that God has chosen to reveal Himself unto saving faith.
The more we have been given, the more will be required Luke 12:48,
so yes, we do need Scripture, and no we won't be saved without knowing of Jesus death and resurrection, taking our sin on Himself, so read and study your Bible and be thankful for it.
what about the witness of the Spirit?
It's ironic that while giving that message, someone made it difficult to understand the message by adding completely unnecessary music.

When he said "steward" in the subtitles it said "Stewart"..
I know it's not really a big deal..But, I just want people who sees/hears this for the first time to not be confused. Especially if they come from different cultures or backgrounds.. They might think he's talking about a person rather than a noun.

Anytime there's Christianity being preached, there's always music put on over the message by only God knows who to distract people from the message! I've noticed this so much over the last while and sometimes it's even louder. In some of the "shorts" videos I noticed they play sweet dreams by the eurythmics, sometimes it's quite heavy sounding rock music. They also do it a lot with the conservative topics refuting thr gender ideology etc.
Agreed. The music is not necessary at all. Such a distraction and so annoying and repetitious.

Jesus Christ went to the cross and now lives to set sinful us free from death and eternal condemnation. Repent and turn your heart to Him before it's too late. If He's calling your heart today, say yes! But count the cost--it will cost you everything, but the rewards are real and worthy.

WHO IS AND HOW IS REPRESENTED JEZEBEL?
JEZEBEL represents the false prophets and can be in a church that has love, faith, service and perseverance where she has the authority to do whatever she desires.
How acts a person who represents Jezebel?
- Takes the servants of God to a wrong path
- Misleads the servants of God into sexual immorality
- Makes the servants of God commit idolatry
“I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first. Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.” (Revelation 2:19-20 NIV)
WHAT IS IDOLATRY?
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines the word IDOLATRY as follows:
- the worship of a physical object as a god
- immoderate attachment or devotion to something
The Word of God defines idolatry in two ways:
- Worshipping images
“You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.” (Exodus 20:3-4 NIV)
- Living to please our sinful desires
“Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.” (Colossians 3:5 NIV)
Scoff not at prophecies.
1 Thessalonians 5 : 20
To deny the manifestations of the Holy Spirit or attribute them to the devil is bringing you into the realm of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
Test them by the Spirit.
Not only that, but for their gratification, and that's the essence of prostitution.
So, why does the bride call herself the "BAPTIST CHURCH"? or is the Baptist Church the bride of Christ?
