    I've not heard it explained like this in all my 73 years!! WHY? It's amazing how we've NOT LEARNED A THING. We're still in this predicament..... "if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven forgive their sins."
    I have and am NOTHING without Jesus Christ.
    Thank you Voddie Bachmann...thank you. 💖

      Revelation is like any other book in Scripture and unlike any other book in Scripture. It’s much like John. Easy enough to grasp on the surface, yet deep enough to wade through for 30 lifetimes and not grasp it all. I’m only 43, and I’m blessed to have a small online ministry. If asked which book I’d recommend for brand new Christians (if just one), it’d be either John or Revelation. Why? Bc both CLEARLY state Jesus is God, both CLEARLY reveal His character, and therefore both CLEARLY demonstrate He is both the One to love AND fear - not the devil. He’s the tempter, yes. But he can’t throw our souls into hell. Christ can.
      And btw. Isn’t self reliance the same thing as being cold? If you have gold and belongings but know you’re still in need of EVERYTHING He offers, is that not hot? Surface meaning, deeper meaning (what Voddie touched on here), and meanings so deep my brain cannot grasp it all. I’m sure you know Revelation is the only book in the Bible that cross references you back to all 65 other books AND itself in both the future and past tense! Fascinating! And it just gets better.
      If you’d like the deepest dive I’ve ever encountered online (or anywhere else for that matter short of doctorate level Bible college…and even that isn’t this deep IMO( into Revelation (and every other book in Scripture), may I refer you to the late, great Dr. Chuck Missler? He has an over 24 hour study on Revelation, and reveals hidden gems within the text (every book) that are BEAUTIFUL esp to this scientific age bc they PROVE Jesus wrote the Bible!
      For example, refer to Genesis 5. Just a genealogy of 10 guys right? Not so fast! See, the names we have are a transliteration of Hebrew. But Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic (the 3 languages of the original Scriptures - Daniel and Ezra were both originally penned in Aramaic and the rest of the OT Hebrew, the entire NT Koine Greek), all share these peculiar characteristics. They all have a mathematical attachment to every letter in their alphabet, and every letter in their alphabet has a translatable meaning! So, let’s TRANSLATE the names in Genesis 5 and see what we get:
      Adam = Man
      Seth = Appointed
      Enosh = Mortal
      Kenan = Sorrow
      Mahalaleel = The Blessed God
      Jared = Shall Come Down (Jared is a verb)
      Enoch = Teaching
      Methuselah = His Death Shall Bring
      Lamech = The Despairing
      Noah = Comfort (or) Rest
      Now, let’s put that into a sentence!
      Man (is) Appointed Mortal Sorrow (but) The Blessed God Shall Come Down Teaching (that) His Death Shall Bring The Despairing Comfort (or Rest)!
      Now I’m not that smart ma’am! And Dr. Missler isn’t the only Christian throughout the ages to make this startling discovery. Why is it so important? Bc you’ll NEVER convince me a bunch of Jewish Rabbis conspired to hide what would become the summary of the Christian gospel inside a genealogy within there blessed Torah! No way! And this is just one of HUNDREDS of discoveries like it. Another is the shape of the camp in Numbers. I won’t labor you with the mathematics (you can read that in Numbers for yourself), but the camp literally forms a perfect cross! And in the very middle? The tabernacle! God Himself! So when Balaam came to curse the Israelites upon the mountain, he literally would have seen from above the shape of men in the formation of a perfectly symmetrical cross!
      Again, I’m not that smart ma’am. But if you’re intrigued, search TH-cam for “Chuck Missler Torah Codes (Bible).” The thumbnail for the video will have Dr. Missler’s picture in the middle of a Matrix like computer grid behind him (he didn’t design that - whoever uploaded the video did). But the most intriguing discovery of them all (in my humble opinion) is the 3rd of the 4 he will share in that video. That will give you the flavor of how he taught the Bible (he’s with the LORD now). Then, go jump into Revelation (or any other book) by simply searching for his name, the book of your choice, and “session 1” or “session 2,” etc. It’ll take you on a journey through Scripture that to this day I’m still humbled God showed me. I pray this reaches you doing well Nana!
      Sincerely,
      (A lucky son to a blessed mother and Nana like you!)
      Brian

      The reason why you haven't heard truth like this is because unqualified false teachers who don't understand the difference between symbolic, prophetic literature and biblical history began flooding churches with their emotional manipulation tactics and motivational speeches instead of truth like you hear from preachers like Voddie Baucham, RC Sproul, Sam Storms, Joel Beeke, John R Crosby, GK Beale and others who stick to historical Amillennial perspective. Voddie Baucham's God-given wisdom truly shows as he is NOT a Dispensational-futurist who parrots false teachers like John Darby & C.I. Scofield (who wrote their own Bible and pioneered the Dispensational-Zionist rapture movement), Tim LaHaye (known for his Left Behind apocalyptic fiction books and movies), John Walvoord (who will die a rich man from making billions$$$ off people who don't understand prophetic language) John Hagee (with his repeatedly failed blood-moon theories and rapture charts and books), Joel Osteen, Chuck Missler (who kept getting in trouble for copying copyrighted material to gain popularity and started the y2k craze, saying the rapture is going to happen in year 2000) and other charismaniac preachers today.

      There may be things in your life that you haven't repented of. We are all sinners but some people keep doing things thinking it's not a big deal. Like enabling someone in their addiction, living with a man or woman out of wedlock, watching porn. Repent and ask for forgiveness and mean it don't go right back. It isn't easy to follow Jesus some times but the Joy I have through everything is the peace that surpasses all understanding.

    I've been praying for deliverance from painkillers. I've been tapering for a while now and had a major setback when my doctor tapered my dose too much too quickly. My body went into shock, and I'm back up to a higher dose than I was at when he made the drop. I've also been praying for healing for the pain I'm on the painkillers for. Thank you for the encouragement to keep praying.

      i got a deliverance decree you could say it out loud a few times and try some CBd or even medical marijuana its in the bible the eyesalve so weed heals its part of the annointing oil recipe Moses used.
      Romans 8 deliverance decree
      There is no condemnation to me i live in Christ Jesus and He lives in me
      I walk in the Spirit of the Lord of Glory His face shines on me
      He has made me free from sin and death
      By sending His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh
      So I could be spiritually minded in life and peace
      The Spirit of God dwells in me
      I please God by offering myself a living sacrifice to Him
      My body is as good as dead because of being sick and sinful
      But the righteousness of God covers me
      The same Spirit living in me raised Christ from the dead
      Shall quicken my mortal body by the Spirit in me (why you need to be filled with the Spirit its powerful)
      I mortify the deeds of the flesh
      No longer in bondage to fear i am adopted and a child of God i can call Him Abba
      The Spirit of Jesus bears witness with my Spirit i am His child
      I suffered with Him but it is not worthy or comparable to the glory of God in me
      All creation groans and travails with me creatures suffered with us the earth groaned too.
      We groan along with creation waiting for our bodies of death to be changed
      We will all be delivered soon
      God who searches the heart knows the mind of the spirit and makes intercession for us all according to the will of God
      What can I say to such a beautiful gift? God is for me. Who can be against me?
      He freely gave me all the good gifts i needed
      Who can charge me with anything? God has justified me. Who can condemn me? Christ died for me nobody and nothing can separate me from Him
      No tribulation, or distress, persecution, famine or nakedness, or peril or sword shall ever separate me from the Lord my God.
      All day long i might be slandered, cast out, excluded, and killed like a slaughtered sheep
      But in all this i am a victorious overcoming conqueror through Him who loves me.
      I know no kind of doubt i can even muster up that nothing can separate me from His love. He has promised me.
      I will live and die, but no evil angels, principalities, powers, nor things happening now, or in the past, nothing high, nothing low, no pit of despair, nothing will separate me from the Love of Christ Jesus.
      I got this word of knowledge healing song for a blind homeless guy i pray for. Its a promise from God to heal him! From Isaiah 29. Holy double Glory to God! He gave me some powerful healing songs we can all sing them. Everybody needs to be healed like Israel when Moses took them out. Sing it over your sick people.
      in that day
      The deaf shall hear the words of the book,
      and the eyes of the blind shall see
      The lame shall leap like a deer
      The dead in Christ (Isaiah 26:19)
      will arise awake and sing
      Together we will sing
      Come out of darkness, and see
      See clearly
      Come listen to me
      i have eye salve for thee
      The afflicted and humble
      shall rejoice in me
      and the poor and needy man
      He shall sing
      with the Holy One
      For the evil one is cast out,
      And fallen
      and the scorner is consumed,
      Like the chaff and burned
      and all that love sin and iniquity shall be cut off
      “””That make a man an offender for the word,
      and lay a snare for him that reproves in the gate,
      and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.
      Therefore thus saith the LORD, your God
      If you trust and listen to me
      You shall not be ashamed,
      neither shall you be afraid .
      You shall sanctify my name,
      and sing with the Holy One
      and shall fear God and glorify His name
      What you didn't understand will be revealed
      And you will learn sound doctrine and all be healed
      By the dew of herbs
      Thus says the Lord

      Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes YE WERE HEALED.
      This verse here is written in past tense about healing. The ye is implied the reader of the verse. So go before God ask forgiveness of any wrong doing and bring this verse into prayer. Claiming the promise that you have been healed by Christ's stripes! Christ paid the price for forgiveness and sickness; glory hallelujah! After praying and claiming this promise that belongs to every child of God, begin praising! If doubt and fear come in you stand on the Word saying It is written; I have been healed; it says so in 1 Peter 2:24! Amen! God bless!

      I confess to God in my prayers that we study the Bible but so many people have to interpret it and many people disagree on meanings.
      It’s not fair many will burn in hell for our intellectual shortcomings and our inability to understand scripture.
      The Bible is not direct enough and this sends many people to hell through our misunderstanding of the word.
      I ask God 8n my prayers that the Bible would be best served if there is one more testament of the Bible written called the ‘. Final Testament written in English and that Jesus appear during the Super bowl and speak audibly to the world. Too many people are guessing what is true in life.
      Faith and understanding are two different things.

      @@keithkahley In actuality, those seven churches have existed in every age and place throughout history. It's certainly real. And you seem to divide the spiritual and literal so completely as to say that one doesn't inform the other. If The Revelation doesn't do that, why write it? The literal (physical) and spiritual are inextricably linked. All day, everywhere around you. (Open the eyes of my servant, Lord....Elisha). Try to avoid simplistic, one-off comments.

      📣(3) THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age that Christ brought to purify man with His Word"
      How God Manages and Administers the Spiritual World. ... 3. The Cycle of Life and Death of People Who Follow God
      Almighty God said
      NEXT is the cycle of life and death of SERVANT people. We have just discussed servants; WHAT IS THEIR ORIGIN? (Some are PEOPLE who DO NOT SPEAK, some are ANIMALS.) 😪
      These SERVANTS are REINCARNATED--HUMANS from UNBELIEVING PEOPLE and ANIMALS. 🔴
      WHEN the LAST PHASE of WORK COMES, GOD CHOOSES from among the UNBELIEVING PEOPLE a GROUP of such PEOPLE, and it is a GROUP that is UNIQUE. God's PURPOSE in CHOOSING such PEOPLE is for them to SERVE His WORK. "Service" is not a very pleasant word to hear, nor is it something that anyone can be dedicated to, but we must SEE for WHOM it is DEDICATED. 🔴
      There is a UNIQUE IMPORTANCE in the EXISTENCE of God's SERVANTS. NO ONE ELSE CAN PERFORM THEIR ROLE, because they were CHOSEN by God, and on this THE SIGNIFICANCE of their EXISTENCE DEPENDS. And WHAT is the ROLE of these SERVANTS?
      To SERVE GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE. 🔴🙏
      Basically, their ROLE is to SERVE God's WORK, to HELP God's WORK, and to HELP God BUILD His CHOSEN PEOPLE. 🙏🌷
      Regardless of whether they work, fulfill certain roles, or perform such duties, WHAT DOES GOD REQUIRE of these PEOPLE? He is too SERIOUS of His NEEDS of them? (He asks them to be faithful.) 🔴
      SERVANTS also NEED to be FAITHFUL. Regardless of your ORIGIN, or why GOD CHOSEN you, YOU MUST be HONEST: You must be HONEST to GOD, in whatever God COMMANDS you, as well as in the work you are RESPONSIBLE for and the DUTY you PERFORM. 🙏
      If the PEOPLE have the ABILITY to be FAITHFUL, and to FAIL God, then what will be their end? They can STAY. Is it a blessing to be a SERVANT who REMAINS? What does STAY MEAN? What does this BLESSING mean? In fact, they don't seem like the people CHOSEN by God, they seem strange. In REALITY, however, is what they enjoy in this life NOT the same as God's CHOSEN people? At least, in this LIFE it's just the same. 🔴
      You will not deny it. Yes? God's utterances, God's GRACE, God's PROVIDENCE, God's blessings---who CANNOT ENJOY these THINGS? Everyone will enjoy such abundance. IDENTIFYING a SERVANT is a servant, but to God, they are one in the MIDDLE of all things He CREATED--as long as their ROLE is as that of a SERVANT.
      So what do you say, as one of God's CREATIONS, is there a difference BETWEEN a SERVANT and God's CHOSEN PEOPLE? There is REALLY NO DIFFERENCE. If the CONVERSATION is in the NAME, there is a difference, there is a DIFFERENCE in the SPIRIT, if the CONVERSATION is in the ROLE they PLAY there is a DIFFERENCE, BUT GOD does NOT DISTINGUISH AGAINST them. 🔴
      So WHY are these PEOPLE considered SERVANTS? You MUST UNDERSTAND this. THE WONDERERS COME from the UNBELIEVING. MENTIONING people WHO do NOT BELIEVE TELLS US that their PAST is BAD: They are all ATHEISTS, in their PAST they are ATHEISTS, they DO NOT BELIEVE in GOD, and they HATE GOD, TRUTH, and POSITIVE things . 😪
      They do not believe in God and they do not believe that there is a God, SO do they have the ABILITY to UNDERSTAND the WORDS of GOD? It's fair to say that, for the most part, they have NO ABILITY. Just LIKE ANIMALS CANNOT UNDERSTAND HUMAN WORDS, SERVANTS do NOT UNDERSTAND what GOD SAYS WHAT He NEEDS, Why He MAKES such REQUIREMENTS---these THINGS are HARD to UNDERSTAND to them,They REMAIN UNEXPLAINED. 🔴
      And for this REASON, these people DO NOT HAVE the LIFE we are TALKING ABOUT. IF there is NO LIFE, CAN people UNDERSTAND the TRUTH? Do they have the TRUTH? Do they HAVE EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE of GOD'S WORDS? Certainly not. Such is the ORIGIN of SERVANTS.
      But since God made these people SERVANTS, there STILL are STANDARDS in His REQUIREMENTS of them; they are NOT belittled, and He is NOT superficial to them. Although they DO NOT UNDERSTAND His WORDS, and are lifeless, God remains KIND to them, and still has rules in His requirements of them. You just said these rules: Being FAITHFUL to GOD, and DOING WHAT HE SAYS. 🙏
      From "The Word Appears in the Flesh"
      Fulfillment of (John 1:1) and (Revelation 18:9,13)
      The Savior has returned and He or Christ has fulfilled His building of the kingdom/church on top of the rock or standing in the worthy holy place in the air/TH-cam! When He came He fulfilled what was prophesied in the book of Revelation and from there it is recorded that He changed a new name and the name of His city from ("THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐) "The Epistle to the church of Philadelphia" "The one who overcomes is I will make a pillar in thetemple of my God, and he shall not be removed from it forever. I will engrave on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem that will come down out of heaven from my God. I will also engrave him with my new name. (Revelation 3:12). ... "The Reign of the Prince of Peace" "For a baby boy is born and he will rule over us. He is the wonderful counselor, the Almighty God, the eternal Father, the Prince of peace." (Isaiah 9:6). ... "For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their SHEPHERD. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water; and God will wipe away the tears from their eyes." (Revelation 7:17).
      "They said together, "Salvation comes from the Lamb, and from our God who sits on the throne!" (Revelation 7:10). ... So God's sheep and the right people He created have come to His holy city the New Jerusalem that will only last on earth for 1,000 years "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD"💐

      I do agree, but remember, John15:16.
      Also, ALL of the disciples of Jesus DESERTED him & Paul PERSECUTED the church, and NONE of us loved him at first, the only reason why we can love him in the first place is that he loved us first(1 John 4:19).
      Do you love someone out of fear? God is the author and finisher of our faith hebrews 12:2.
      Raise your hand if you loved God first. Don’t try to instill fear in people(2 Tim 1:7) thinking that they are not meant to be saved because they are baby Christians and don’t have “HOT PASSION” for God like you may have. He wants EVERYONE to be saved (john6:40) and we can CHOOSE to serve him and receive him as our Lord (Joshua 24:15), but there is growing process (Ephesians 4:13) what you say only talks about duty out of fear NOT devotion for God, but with enough duty, devotion might follow (John 8:31-32), but without devotion it is only religion not relationship(Luke 10:41-42) like the Pharisees and seducees but God who started the good work in you will see to an end (Phil 1:6 & 1 Thes 5:24) because without the help of the Holy Spirit we can’t love(1 cor 8:1 & 1 cor 13:2 & 1 John 4:8 & mat 19:26) and know God (John 14:26 & Eph 1:17-19).
      When you first believed and confessed (rom 10:9-10), you were born again by God into a new spirit(creation) 2 cor5:17 and the Holy Spirit dwells in you(1 John 4:18 & 5:1) You are saved, but there still need for sanctification(john17:17) and growing in faith, but God doesn’t really want you to live in fear (Luke 1:74).
      God’s will is john6:40, 1 Thes 4:3, 1 Thes 5:16-24.
      It is YOUR personal walk with God, but he never leaves you nor forsakes you (deut 31:8) do you expect same responsibility from a child as with an adult, but if you are a parent you would want your children to grow up, I think same with God, but everyone’s phase or spiritual maturity is different.
      The way you become more devotional that I believe is by obeying the word of God like I mentioned above, and walk with God (reading the Bible, praying, and applying the word of God into your lives and see the fruit of it’s power in physical realm. Feat. Psalm34:8 & psalms 37:4& psalm 119) Also, by reading the Bible your understanding grows (1 Cor 14:20 & proverbs 9:10, Transformed - rom 12:2) and you start to think like him and see in his perspective (God’s- Phil 2:5) and you understand why he told you to do certain things that you didn’t know before because now that you’ve actually live through it and see the result of it, you WANT to live like that (feat. Deut. 28). And realize the Father’s love for us, that it was actually all for us and for his glory.
      “And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, to keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?”

You have to let God do it for you and through you. Listen and obey the holy spirit that is in you. Yes, you will fall but get back up. We have no idea how much he loves his children. Tepid water also is a favorable growth medium for dangerous microbes. Stuff doesn't grow nearly so easily in either hot or cold water. It's a great metaphor.

      I had that same idea a while back. Especially back then with lack of clean water, no filtration, etc.
      Sins, like microbes, viruses, etc, which fester make the water harmful, deadly.

    I’m so blown away by this insight I totally misunderstood this passage of scripture. I have been saved for a long time now but feel like such a baby in light of this. It’s better to be a a baby in Christ than a adult in this world.

    I differ from the self-reliance statement. Even if self-reliant, gratitude to God for allowing you what you have will keep you from self-contentment. This was also Nebuchadnezzar's sin that made him a beast for seven years. He was self-content, proud of his accomplishments instead of referring them to God's grace.

    Got a similar revelation a few months ago, thankfully the LORD has now confirmed it for me.
    Cold water is refreshing, we are to be refreshing to one and other, including the unbeliever. We will be refreshing because of our kindness, generosity, love, compassion. You will know if a person is refreshing, when after you spend time with them you feel uplifted, energised, joyful etc.
    Hot water drink like a soup, is full of nutrients and has significant healing power. We are to bring healing to each other, such as listening to each other, giving shoulder to lean on, helping one and other greive and most importantly, sharing Jesus. You will know you've encountered a Christian with hot water by their listening, gentle and soothing presence that feels like you are drinking a nice hot soup when you have a cold or sickness.
    Lukewarm Christian is one who is neither. They do not provide any refreshments or revitalisation. Their presence, despite being Christian, is distasteful, bitter and unpleasant to be around.

      @jS-zn7ek 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh and, when the unbeliver keeps drinking our refreshing water that is our refreshing presence, they will ask...how is you do this. And we will say, thanks be to our LORD Jesus Christ. Come, meet him.

    Love you brother Voddie. I had to go and check all other commentaries of old because it just didn't add up. This is/was my key good argument I use for my friends ‘independant’ and libertarian😂 ( middle of the road, I call them, likely to be ran over by an 18 wheeler!.) Then start using Rev 3:16. They have no zeal for one thing or the other but compromise all the way. God bless you. I love your preaching😊🙏🤗

    What he was talking about was whether you were hot ( trusting God for righteousness) or cold ( trusting in the law, which shows them their need for a Savior). The lukewarm are the one's who have mixed law and grace and believe they are fine and lack nothing.

    Please read the attributes of the church of Laodicea. Would a believer not have white garments on already? Would a believer be told he’s spiritually blind? No. These are not the attributes of a believer. They weren’t born again yet and Jesus is outside the church knocking to be let inside.

      Yeah sounds impossible, yet with Christina Ann Tucker, I've come to the conclusion that financially anything is possible. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend and a whooping $320k in savings already, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in debt then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Christina A. Tucker is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!

    Very strictly speaking,if you have gold,money,property it is yours but not yours.If you are lucky and live 70 years,you just have time after aquiring it to manage it till end of life on earth.The earth and all in it,whole universe is God's property.We are managers.
    Just another interesting thought: I have heard so many(actually most) christians saying that all your property could be taken away from you.And imply God will take it away "to make you better person".In reality what i have seen in most cases where people lost their belongings: unwise stubborn decisions not based on God's Word,His rules.Such people pretend afterwards it is God's Will,actually subconsciously blaming Him.And what happened to Israelites when they blamed God and Moses?
