  • In this video we conclude our Newfoundland Trip. We hike on sore legs and I'm sure there is a bit of sailing involved.

so happy to see you enjoying the journey, not just looking for u tube hits. Onward towards the great Canadian cities, then hopefully Detroit, and northern Mi? hopefully I'll see you somewhere along the way and mingle in the same waters. In the grey colors the human soul shines bright, in the bright sun of the Caribbean the soul gets faded and washed out, not that i don't want to be washed out, just that i'm not ready for that yet. i want to see the great white north form the deck of my boat and visit friends in the north before dropping out to southern latitudes. Carry on, and carry the flame north!

Thanks for the comment and support. At this point, we have a bit of a backlog of videos to release weekly. Our summer is nearly over. Bitter sweet. I don't want to be done, but I know it's time to get the boat to her new winter port of Superior, Wisconsin.
The part of your comment about gray feeding the soul resonates with us.
With the amount that I filmed, I should have videos coming well into winter. They might not always be the funnest or flashiest videos on TH-cam but it is what it is. Taking folks with us on our sailing journey.

Another great and interesting episode. Thanks. I am looking forward to your travels in the St Lawrence seaway and channels. Not something I’ve seen on sail vids before. It’s an interesting part of the great country. Canada is an amazing place. Best

Thanks! I'm looking forward to my St. Lawrence video release too. It's my favorite yet. Probably because it's a different flavor from my other videos.

Thanks! We had a great time. I just wish we had the whole season in Newfoundland instead of just making it a small part of a bigger voyage to the Great Lakes.

I'm so happy I found your channel and that you continue to make videos! It's been a dream of mine to sail the St. Lawrence Seaway and I am looking forward to seeing the footage of your adventure! And, if by chance you make it all the way to Duluth, MN on your trip it could be cool to meet up if you two were into that... My partner has a sailboat there and we've had some great adventures out on the big lake, if not a tad frightening at times lol. But it's the best! Safe travels!

Let's kick it. We made it to our winter port at Barker's Island Marina, Superior. I'll have videos coming out every week. Even though I have more footage than that. So that makes for quite a backlog. Should have videos to last a good way into the winter.
Anyways, I don't know the best way to exchange contact info in this public space. How about Facebook messenger? I would be cool to make some friends. We're starting a new here, UNSALTED LIFE

@@practicaldreams6377 That is awesome!! I'm moving up there next summer (currently living in Minneapolis) and actually hoping to get a part-time job at Barkers 😆 We have lots of sailor friends in the area we could introduce you to. I drive up every so often (my partner usually drives down to the cities on the weekends) so I think it'd be so rad to meet you guys. I'll try to reach out on the faceplace.

As you know you only scratched the surface of NL. Bonne Bay is one of the best places to explore for sure so at least you did that. That’s a great feat to sail to Montreal…….good on you both!

Thanks for the view and comment. In hindsight, I wouldn't recommend taking a sailboat to Montréal unless one we hell bent to do it. I'll have that video coming out in 2 weeks. Fair warning. Lots of foul language 😀
