Escaping the heat, off to the beach! Bembridge Airfield in a EuroFOX Microlight 912iS

- Eve, Jimmy (the dog) & I fly to Bembridge to visit the seaside on very hot summer's day. We travel with our friends, Steve & Kate. Steve recently re-certified to an unrestricted licence with this being his inaugural qualified flight. Watch on to see how we get on.
I was in my back garden (alderholt) with a beer and the bbq going. Saw you flew over, confirmed with flight radar. Saw the pair of you.
That’s so cool! 😎 My track & altitude discipline was not on point for that particular flight… just saying 😬 I blame Steve! 😉😂

I loved the route graphic at the beginning. Living and flying in the UK I know where you’re based and the route that you took (airspace etc), but for those who don’t I’m sure it will be very helpful 👌

Did you go to the Eurofox fly in on Saturday at Old Warden?they were hoping for 50-60 Eurofoxes dont no how many went tho tbh
I wanted to go, but it was so warm that we didn’t do any flying at all this weekend 😔
From the chatter I can see on the WhatsApp group I think around 30 ended up attending, hopefully someone will have taken some footage & will post it 🤞🏼

It’s very dry here & the heat generates awful turbulence & makes flying less pleasurable 🤷🏻♂️
