WOW…. Dark Lord….. these videos get better every time !! Love the new views…. Fab 👏 You’re First Officer is becoming “essential” for your sorties…. Well done Eve 👍 Nothing “naff” about it….. totally on it , sir…. You beat me to Lee….. you little scamp 😜…… On my list for next time for me ! Well done again…… Keep ‘em coming, sir…. Captain Ray 👨✈️
Evening Captain! 🫡 Yeah, err you gotta be worried when your untrained passenger picks up on your mistakes!!! 😂 I’m glad you think the quality is improving 😊👍🏼 I’ve got some older content that I’ll be posting over the next few weeks so will be taking a ‘step back’ in quality for some of the coming videos. But learning more & more as I go 👍🏼 Lee is definitely worth the visit, but maybe don’t pick such a busy day (like a sunny bank holiday 🤦🏻♂️)! A good experience irrespective though! Hope to see you soon 👨🏼✈️
Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed the video 😊👍🏼 I’m based in the UK where the national sport is ‘complaining’ & ‘reporting people to the authorities’… hence the disclaimers 😉
Well the 360 is a very welcome addition from a viewer's point of view. It's clear that it provides some great flexibility for shots in the position you've mounted it. It definitely adds a greater sense of exposure to the views and the ground features, and the beauty of that lovely day certainly comes across, too! Great stuff - thank you! 🙂
That’s useful to know, thanks so much 😊👍🏼 I don’t like the fisheye effect it can sometimes produce but I felt it was a positive addition & the wing seems like the best position. Grateful for your feed back 👍🏼🥳
@@FlyingDarkLord I agree with the fisheye effect. Some people go 'extreme' with that and I don't feel it adds anything, but each to their own of course. I assume the effect is managed via the software? Anyway, you've kept it to a minimum here so that the feeling of having multiple moving cameras is achieved.
Always a pleasure to come along for the ride, once again, setting the bar a bit higher for quality content and edit! Also, I think you may have found the sweet spot for the 360 camera👌🏻…
Thanks so much! 😊👍🏼 I learn something new with each video I make. This weekend was the first for the wing mount 360. I’ve got some older content I’ll be posting, but that will be with the original format. I think I’ll keep using the 360 on the wing now, it gives great flexibility 😊
Really good to meet you finally & thanks so much for the photos 😊 It had to be one of your pictures for the thumbnail 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Nothing else would do! Hoping you’ll step from behind the lens & appear in one of my videos soon 🤞🏼
@@FlyingDarkLord Most Definitely down to Feature in Your videos soon. Let me know a time and I'll be more than happy to poke from behind the camera! 🤙😁
It certainly has, the Solent never looked so good! 😂 I’m really happy with the 360 position on the wing, it’s on a standard fixed GoPro mount, so no stick used at all 👍🏼
😄 thank you sir & good to see you today 👍🏼 Jimmy sleeps when we’re flying & seems happy to settle quickly once he has his headset on! The aircraft can be flown from either seat as the controls are identical on each side, although it is traditional to fly from the left (port) seat. Having said that, there are some pilots that prefer to fly from the right 🤷🏻♂️ Glad you enjoyed the videos & looking forward to perhaps seeing some of yours with views of the Italian coastline 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
😄 I’m up for a flight like that!!! First will be a flight to France & then once I’ve got experience of that then Germany must be conquered!!! 😂 Thanks for coming back 👍🏼
Been doing some light reading about Stoney Cross, it must have been a heck of an installation when it was fully operational. I always get a bit sad seeing aeronautical infrastructure demolished and disused tbh... BUT even now it sure makes a very recognisable WP :) Also I know where I'd try to set it down if problems would arise...
Breaks my heart seeing it derelict 😢 We’ve walked it & know there are sections where it would be possible set down, assuming no New Forest ponies were in the way 🤦🏻♂️😄
It’s edited down but I have to say I was truly impressed by the professionalism of the air traffic controller there! Cool, calm, efficient & courteous throughout, despite the rising pressure for them 👏🏼
It has a superb rate of climb compared to other light aircraft. The next time I’m fully fuelled with a passenger & in optimal conditions I will make a note of my rate of climb 👍🏼 It’s not often I fly fully loaded
The MissionaryBushPilot in PNG often shows his dashboard, it 's fun to follow the flight with one eye on the numbers. I fly a Storch : alone 800 ft per minute, maybe 1000, but that is the absloute maximum. @@FlyingDarkLord

Good catch by Eve! She's basically a safety pilot now 😉
💯😂👍🏼
Makes me think how many other little mistakes I make that otherwise go unnoticed 😳😬
This video makes me want to work at Lee information. Nicely done Mr AFISO!
He did a great job 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I wouldn't have thought all the disclaimers are necessary, apart from that excellent video👍

Thank you very much sir! Glad to have you on board 😄👍🏼
Cool vid Geoff. I’m planning a trip the Lee soon so this was great timing indeed.

It is software managed, I’m still getting to grips with it & feel happy with it as an adjunct to the other views I have 😊👍🏼
1960: Fond memories watching SR.N1 being tested from Solent aérodrome.
That must have been spectacular! 😮
You’ll be one of the rare few to have seen it operational ‘in the flesh’ 🥳👏🏼
Great video, thank you. Rather useful for planning my own trip ...
I’m pleased to hear that it’s been of some use, even if it’s to help avoid making the same mistakes I did 😊👍🏼
Looked like a really pleasant flight, thanks for allowing us to come along.
Thanks for joining us 😊👍🏼
Not quite the more panoramic view you get from your aircraft though 😄
That was a busy and bumpy flight Geoff. Always good to share a flight with the three of you!
Thanks for watching Tim 😊👍🏼
That was a bit of a busy flight but you handled it all very well. Very pleasant viewing, thank you 👌👏👏👏

Fantastic videos sir and looks like such good fun. I have two questions: Does Jimmy like flying and is the plane left hand drive only ... ? 😀

Are you going to Laa rally at popham this weekend ?
Sadly family commitments mean I can’t make it 😔 I’m hoping the weather holds out for all those attending 🤞🏼
What is your rate of climb ? With 2 persons and full on fuel ? The Eurofox performances seem good if you ask me.
