    you need to look into if your 60 amp hour box will run one of the Chinese diesel heaters 5amp. and use it for ice camping.

    What is the battery configuration vs the 20AH?

      Great question! I think the 30Ah will get you most or all of the way. I would get one and try it and see if it lasts. If it doesn't then a second 30Ah can be wired in parallel and that will for sure get you through.

      This battery is the 30ah WIDE and has a max draw of 10 or 15 amps. They also have a 30Ah TALL that is rated for 30 amps and I think that would be better suited for your needs. ampedoutdoors.com/collections/lifepo4-battery/products/30ah-lithium-battery-lifepo4-replaces-20ah-same-size-and-weight?aff=8

    what is the best way to determine the AHs I would need to run a given set-up for an 8-9hr tournament day?

    • @iceholepower8012
      @iceholepower8012  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Find out the amp draw of your fish finder then multiply that by 8 or 9 hours. For example, if your fish finder draws .8 amps then .8A x 9 hours = 7.2Ah

    I'm interested in that nmc battery 32 amp.... It's only $30 more than the regular 30 amp... How do they compare to each other? Will that 30 amp and the 32 amp fit in a summit bag price fishing? Plan on getting one of those batteries for my livescope.... Don't like I got to take the handle off on the Garmin bag.

    • @iceholepower8012
      @iceholepower8012  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Amped NMC batteries run at a higher voltage than the LiFeP04 batteries that we use so I don't use them in my products. I would advise against using 12v accessories with them like our glow cups and power boxes. When they are fully charged, they are just below 17v and I have concerns that the higher voltage will prematurely burn out LEDs. I do know that they have 1000 charge cycles vs 2000 with LiFeP04 batteries so i would have a hard time justifying paying 30 bucks more for a battery that has half the life span to gain 2 amp hours. I am sure it will fit in the summit bag, but I do not own one.

If decided that I wanted more AH for the watersnake could I wire two of the 30ah batteries parallel to double the AH?
