Great video on the Steam deck buddy. I do like the look of it but for me, I have 2 main issues. First of all is the battery. You're not the only person I've read or heard of that's had issues with it. The second is the fact i too am a console game gamer. The device isn't for me but it certainly looks like the way gaming will be going in future. If this is the way things are going, I'll be happy with it, I'll just be very sad that I won't be able to put any physical media into something anymore.
This device is the closest you can get to a console like experience for a PC. Nothing else comes close, I've been a console gamer my whole life and the steam deck is just as simple to me, and as for battery life... it's better than all the competition, I can get atleast 2hrs in triple a games. And a max of 8hrs in indie games

for emulation slow down, you will need to use power tools and limit SMT, that fixes the slowness in outrun
