I am from England and have traveled to a lot of places and the food in Crete is the best.
Manolis is an excellent tour guide.
Thank you Malini for pointing out some of the great Cretan food. Have been going to Crete for many years and the variety of food and hospitality of the Cretan people never ceases to amaze. Chania is such a special place if architecture and food are high on one's list.

Unfortunately the market is now closed for a couple of years but there are so many good shops to visit , restaurants to go our for diner (best ajay from the touristic places)
Italians have the same way (so much in common) we talk your past through before you go!

Thanks for the video. I'm going to Crete in a few months. Hope to try some of their delicacies. I've had Raki before from my first Greece trip, but didn't know of a honey raki. Interesting.

This was last year in September, no idea if they have a temporary location whilst it’s being refurbed!
There is no new location.It is being renovated. There are many open markets in Chania that you can find fresh fruits and veggies

I have to admit. After watching every, and I actually mean every single video you've posted. I must admit. You know there are some ways to describe a woman, beautiful or cute etc. You are described in one word without a doubt as Majestic. The way you carry yourself. Your clothing style. Your voice. thanks very much for your great video! we love Chania! did you travel from the US (originally) to Greece? if so, did you need to get all your vaccine shots including all of the booster shots? so far, we have only received the first 2 shots and none of the boosters. any idea regarding the requirements to fly to Greece now with regards to covid vaccines. thx very much! blessings!
Thank you! Chania is amazing. I went last year in September when requirements for entry were still pretty strict, I.e. PCR test. I think it’s much more straightforward now and they likely just require proof of vaccination but I’d check about booster and time frames etc on the internet.

Rakı is not the same as the cretan raki, its more like Ouzo. Cretan raki is a version of Balkan Rakija . The word is a false friend :)
First of all learn some history. Because you turks are famous for being uneducated and blind. Raki is a Greek drink. Nothing to do with your country. Furthermore everything your culture has are from the Greeks, Persians, Arabs and Armenians. Don't remember that there are history books about Mongolian cuisine.
Cretan raki is same as Italian Grappa or Norwegian Aquavit!!!

All my grand parents birth in chania ( hanya)… they had the biggest lands and biggest oil company there because of greek invasion at first world war we had left everything with empty hands from our motherland…sad, now my family has to visit their own lands with a EU viseum… to make it more clear their surname is kavur (Cavour)…. Funny all world is for the human beings borders only kill and cut the relations between all citizens of the world..

Crete is Greek from the very beginning! Your gparents were occupiers and most probably stole those fields from the local Greeks! Greece didn’t invade but liberated the island from the occupying Turks! You got what u deserved after years of occupation of our lands, don’t cry now!

Malini's videos are full of education. There is some kind of "imbalance" in the videos that others make. For example, Bold and the Bankrupt. The Gentleman came to India, came and started, Eve Teasing in the name of "flirting" with Indian women..! Could he have done in his own country, the same..? in Britain..!? Simply an unprofessional behavior...! There is no touch of professionalism..! Every video of Malini is worth watching, worth learning. Lyra is a violin-like instrument, taught so well by Malini, she is a famous journalist, but, it seems, she is like a "born teacher" how to teach people without hurting their sentiment a little, Malini is an example..!
