That's the way to do it letting gravity be your friend. If the cat trucks could make it back out I'd just make a berm half way down and have them dump there. But he's doing a fine job the way it is. You did too!

The feldspar I used to work with wasn't bad, and sandstone is fairly easy to deal with, but those chunks of granite or andesite or the hard stuff just jars the backbone all the way from the coccys to the skull!

Thornett Walker you can get a model much chipper then that and play with it and put it in your shelf, the real thing is a bit more spencive and it really works.
this dozers are so uneffective in pushing phase , why engeneers just not invite a "bucket" simillar to wheel loader and put on dozer ....1st phase : same , just break dirt + fill bucket by pushing 1st half of way and final 2nd phase : litlle lift of bucket and slide it on the ground on second half way , it will be quicker and energy effecient and will not loose any dirt from bucket like on "old" design .....
There's alot more going on than think . They wanna lose dirt. Did you notice at the end the hill was perfectly slopped down. I can't explain it all to you but There's alot more going on with a bulldozer than just push dirt.
