looks like a reject pile. like the product once its passed through the benefaction plant and come out the end, off the final conveyer. description says reclamation but im not sure how theyre doing that in this scen (if thats what is happening)

Why not shift the conveyor to dump into excavated area?
Bcuz that's how they did it. Prolly have a shit ton more to excavate. And usually where they put the crushed dirt is where they need it.
