I feel like a hostage of FGO's story at this point. I just want her back, humanity to be brought back, Marisbury and that Alien god six feet under and just Ritsuka having a happy ending alongside Jalter and other servants like Castoria and Musashi. Poor guy deserves it after the writers over extending the story to just keep the cash cow flowing. And so does our favorite servants used as cannon fodder to make the player engaged on whether they'll be back or not,
Just give Ritsuka a happy ending with them. Like Jalter becoming a human and living with Ritsuka, just working as a manga artist and Ritsuka being her assistant and chilling with their new life

Is it really hard to just have a wholesome, campy storyline instead? I'm already tired of characters having to build up character development through suffering like Spiderman.
Not saying that's wrong... but come on, life is already hard as it is, I don't need more reminders in fiction. I mean, even Shinji in the Rebuild movies of Evangelion got his happy ending, just stop this, let the kid save humanity at once and let him go back to have a normal life with his new family: his servants... and use all those grails we've gathered over the years to manifest them as humans and have a happy ending for once... I'm so done having to see fictional characters go through sufferment all the time

Basically, afaik, the avengers are slowly but surely rotting Fujimaru mentally, causing him to slowly turn into an Avenger himself. And they don't want him to be like them (a being who only exists for vengeance and destruction) so they cut their connection to him
Because f*ck us that's why 🤡😭😭
SPOILERS:
The reason they're leaving is because the "role" of the Avenger Class is to fight injustice. They do that because ther job is to make other not to suffer like they did. Right now, the only place injustice is happening is in the Antartica, so they will go right there to be our first line of defense. If Fujimaru wants to be with them in that place, he must become a Avenger. That's why this Ordeal Call is happening: To prevent Fujimaru becomes one of them.
This is romantically sad, like seraph/Meltryllis. I hope Amatsuka, Hime, Ricardo Boudica can revert to heroic spirits and help out.

I’m so sorry for Jalter and Fujimaru (as well as the other Avengers, but those two specifically just got FUCKED). I pray they’ll be able to meet again someday and just stick together through thick and thin. But knowing the Type-Moon penchant for bittersweet endings HEAVY on the bitterness, it’s probably not going to happen…😔

They're Avengers. Having a connection to one starts to literally eat away at your soul until there's nothing left. Only now, right before the final trial, does Fujimaru fully comprehend this truth. So in order to prevent him from turning into an avenger himself, his Avenger Servants cut their connection to him willingly.
This doesn't mean they're gone forever, unlike with Solomon and Musashi who permanently disappeared from the Throne of Heroes. But it does mean he can no longer call upon them like he could before.

All my homies hate OC2. Sure... it's given us animation updates for both Jeannes and upgrades in their skills, as well as a date with Jalter... but to pay it all for this isn't worth it...

@@smellyuncleI soooo wish the game gave you a special ending with servants that are bond 15 so you see a cute epilogue of said servants now being humans and living with Ritsuka a happy life. Jalter seriously deserves that luxury as well as Ritsuka. Like them living in a small house while she's a manga artist and Ritsuka is her assistant, while they chill with their lifestyle and only worry about deadlines and whatnot, not about saving humanity for the bazillion time, damaged saint graphs or live or death scenarios.
