Been playing Warframe for 10 years. The biggest tip I can offer to new players is read the WIKI.
Keep in mind this is the same game that tells me all my abilities are 0 energy cost.

I'm fairly new, 1 year of Warframe. I was still about 3 months in when I got my main - Protea. I actually didn't have much difficulty with her abilities.

Saryn, a toxic/toxin/poison based frame, is susceptible to toxin attacks.
Volt, an electric based frame, is susceptible to electric damage.
Ember takes heat damage.
Frost takes cold damage.
I see what u are saying but to put a irl example out there a electric eel can kill another electric eel by shocking it. So what makes u think a warframe shouldn’t be able to take damage from something that isn’t it’s ability whether the attacks holds the same element or not. Now for warframe terms vauban is a frame that uses traps so why should vauban be able to get caught in a trap when he makes them. That is literally what u are saying. Maybe they need a damage reduction but u would need to beg DE to change passives which your warframe. And for a human concept I am able to swim so why am I able to drowned. Just like any other things warframes have limits to Andy just because they might be good at something doesn’t mean they should be negated of that thing when another enemy uses it.
Excaiburs 1st ability is suppose to be an offensive melee ability but also a movement ability, but the game never tells you that you have to hold Aim (aim glide) to use it properly as movement ability.
There is a litany of augments that have unwritten effects, some like xakus even apply a visual effect to your frame. I'd like to see mods list all of their effects
I recently started using xata's whisper and didn't realize it had a particle effect. Was using it on my saryrn (white,grey, black, gold, green energy) and was legit confused why she started glowing red. took me a bit to realize what was going on 😅🤣
DE please just hire someone from the wiki to fix the ability blurbs

Nidus' Parasitic Link is a bit confusing because it says that it buffs ability strength of ally linked and self, but in the stats it says "Damage Increase"
I've been playing for 9+ years got 8.6K mission hours logged, and I STILL have to refer to the wiki, intarwebs and YT videos (yeah, I can't keep it all in my head). Hell, in a pinch sometimes I even watch Your videos KMF!! ikr (jk man, I watch pretty much every video you post, good stuff!)
Anyway, it's hard for me to come up with something specific atm, but this lack of clarity and the briefness of the information in game, has been a long standing issue, and probably is a huge factor why so many new players stop playing WF very early on.
If DE themselves don't have time to improve stuff in this department, then they could AT LEAST link to the relevant wiki page, either in an in-game browser or, as a last resort, an external one.
I've helped many new players over the years, and it's very clear that this issue needs fixing.

Been playing warframe for about 8yrs never didnt understand how volts shields work until I started eidolon hunting about a few years back
Equinox, i m mr 30, almost LR 1 and still struggle to remember how it functions
I wish DE explained volt's 4 correctly because I wish I knew earlier that ability duration does more dmg than ability strength. Cause it does not say that it deals dmg every 0'5 seconds or so...
Or why somtimes you cast his 4 close to some enemies and they don't receive any damage until the electricity jumps back
Nearly 10 years and still finding out new things.. for me thats a good thing, since it opens up a new playtoy. Most recently, playing a riven challenge, i was baffled that eximus units cant break garas wall, but can walce inside limbos 4. Also that her wall can be in face much higher if you high jump and start placing on the fall part, so drones cant fly over it.

i hate that the things are called animation SET but are in fact only idle animations, i want wisp float on other warframes so bad

I am a new player. Read the tip for Volt's shield and took him into my first try taking down Profit Taker and learned the hard way that it doesn't work the way it was described. BTW. As a new player, I end up referring to your channel pretty much for everything I do in the game. Thanks for the content!
Been playing 2 years and never relied on the game for information. Always went to utube or the wiki to figure things out.
at first i never understood how ivara’s prowl worked, it only says on the tips that you get decloaked if you fire alarming weapons and u can still roll during this state

I remember how newbie me got excited for Nyx based on her ability descriptions (pre rework, idk if it even changed tho). It said something across the lines "confuse enemies", "make enemies fight for you" and so on. So I was like "Cool! I can make a mind controlled army! Sign me in!". And the mind controlled army turned out to be just 1 dude.
Well imagine my surprise when I got Revenant with vaguely explained Enthrall ability, which turned out to be the mind controlled army I wanted from Nyx lmao.

Sitting through this video feels like an acid trip
Been playing for a good 5 years, only recently learned Nezha´s Warding Halo scales on two stats.
Ability strength for its base power, armor for its scaling. If you want to get massive numbers on your halo, stack armor and go sit in a fire eximus´ path.
maybe once upon a time volt's electric shield DID combine elements, but when DE changed it they didn't bother changing the tips because they think no one reads those

man, this is much needed in this game. warframe needs some serious QOL improvements. In my opinion... we dont need a BRAND new open world and a completely different take on the game yet. I've spent HOURS on the wiki (an external source from DE) learning about their game. It's getting quite frustrating and im not looking forward to sitting there on the wiki when duviri comes out
Just want world on fire back for ember and for them to stop messing with saryn 17 times
The accessibility of the game is definitely messed up. But atleast we have a dedicated wiki
5 Years Later I finally Learned that Volt Shield Crit Damage Buff is Multiplicative with your weapons MODDED Critical Damage 😱...

Since the closed beta. Why I can't recast Roar while so many buffs are re-castable?
Usually habilitys that can be recasted are the ones that looses it's stacked benneffits, like chroma's vex armor stacking the armor and damage. But with roar you get the same buff no matter if the timer runs out
@@josepablotorresruvalcaba8232 and yet, with scaling buffs I would like to recast my roar and benefit from that buff while is up to boost it even further. Or simply keep it up instead to let it wear off.
Use piercing roar augment it lets you recast it also nice of a cc ability
With the augment i mean
i started a few weeks ago and never was i told that i can teleport from any point in free roam to all teleporters, without going to a teleporter.
Yeah it’s nice, when you get your Archwing and some railjack upgrades you can zip around the open worlds super fast
Only thing i want is to have the ability to hover over the status bar to see what the buffs do while in the pause menu
loki"s passive its pretty hard to understand tbh
Probably because there's no Information Any where in Game that tells you the Default Duration of Wall Latching (I think it's 4 Seconds). 🤔

You could literally start a channel all on its own, explaining additive, multiplicative, base, ability, weapon, eclipse, roar, etc. DAMAGE lol
Hardly a massive thing, but Sevagoth's 1, Reap, actually can be increased in the Shadow's flight speed by holding the cast instead of tapping it.
As far as I know, that is said absolutely nowhere.
Don't even get me STARTED on armor strip abilities. Some are permenant, others are temporary, some need 300% strength to work completely, others need 130.

Been playing warframe since beta and found out just now that you can electrify volts shield
I started playing in early 2013, went on a...7 year hiatus in 2016? Just came back a month ago, so it's been wild catching up.
I just learnt today that Gauss' battery, when reaching 100% charge with redline, doesn't go down with thermal thunder and kinetic plating. Now I can nuke rooms as I never did before, thanks to a youtube video. Gauss is my main frame since launch. DE must look at this, thanks Knightmare :)
I been playing for 4-5 years and nezha’s second ability I didn’t know you cloud throw it at enemies and it would give you a damage vulnerability
And there are still some people, who think this game is casual friendly :D
i think it is casual friendly if you are a veteran. For new players, not so. I have played the game since 2019. Played it heavily for a year and have breaks few months or so.
On the point. I have been playing for years, n still finding out new this about frames. The game doesn't tell anything.
Been playing since 2015, I wish DE told me if you hold the button for Nidus 1 you can see an outline of were it will go
I feel like for the tutorial of the game the fact mods are a huge thing in this game, they never try to explain how applying mods to equipment fully works, with all the mechanics modding can do, how to increase your capacity, how to make mods take less capacity, the never explain it
so glad Sun and Moons coming to our Frames so wanna try for a Melee only focus build and for range focused on my Exalted blade
Excalibur Main since 2013 and still have the most fun it even now.

i was confused with equinoxe for a while tbh and im a veteran from beta lol
I have been playing Warframe for about 6 months (nearly 400 hours) and I mained Valkyr for a lot of that... I had no clue until just recently that Warcry gave extra armor, I thought it only gave the attack speed boost because I trusted the text to tell me everything the ability did and didn't bother to read the stats because I was relatively new and wanted to just continue the game.
And the same thing goes for Gara's 2 as well, I didn't know that the damage was increased by destroying her 4, or that it's timer was reset by using her 4, because that isn't even explained in the stats
Back in my day we had to use void keys up hill both ways
been playing maybe like a year and some change, total, off and on since 2017. to this day i still dont know what xata's whisper type is. is it void damage? then why ISN'T it void damage? is it tau or something? (side question, wtf is tau?) what is it, why does it say what it says in the tooltip, and why does it seem to work better on other frames than on xaku themself??
7-8 years and nova's molecular prime is a favorite of mine always had been but damn i remember learning that it was affected by duration and it blew my mind.

Ive been playing for about 2 3 years and the ability is garuda's 3rd ability it shows that it drains 0% hp for 25% energy

Hay dude, thanks for this type of video. Makes a lot of sense, just one of the issue that Warframe has with it's Details / info. Been playing since 2014 March I think it is, on PS4. I'm ready for the Cross Save to come into effect.
Only been playing for like a year off and on, for the longest time I thought health armor and shield mods actually mattered until I saw your videos and was able to clear star chart rather quickly. My favorite frame is probably rev but the thing I wish I knew more about was abilities like whipclaw that requires a stat stick, some abilities deal slash but don’t have any slash stats so I end up modding IPS when it doesn’t even trigger
Whenever i'll mastery a Warframe, i'll go for Warframe Wiki and TH-cam to explorate tips and possibilities
Yea, I've had to go to the wiki to get the real beef for abilities for 5 years. The game doesn't, and has never, given 100% explanation . more like maybe 25%.
Playing warframe since 2015. And i never understood how Equinox works. I see a lot of people with crazy builds creating an absolute massacre with her/him. But even if i do the same builds, the same chasting, damn equinox won't kill anything.
i think it should work if u didn't play on steel path , Equinox maim build is like cast ability then kill enemy by your weapons to collected power than press that ability again to released that power

Shield-gating could be explained because the game It's not even well made for Steel path, you need this mechanic or helminth aka "bandaid" for warframes.
I forget exactly the date but it was when loki prime came out or a little before I don't quite remember. My favorite warframe is baruuk, he is pretty straight forward lol I just love how his whole kit synergizes together, pretty active play style, and a good exalted weapon :> really wish they would rework some of them but at this point it seems like what the frames are are what they will be til the end of the game instead of fixing them seems like they will just get powercrept.
Warframe: the game where some days you have to spend more time on the wiki and studying the mechanics than actually playing
Nova was a chore to learn, she was one of my first frames and even after months i still couldn't figure out how she worked
Started in 2015 and I think I know most of my commonly used frames well enough. Being a Limbo player since before his Stasis change I would say I know his kit by heart. Though I only recently learned that you can hold banish to push everything out of the rift.

Number 1 (Fav) : Eclipse's light and shadow thing, and it's included with video settings.
Number 2 : Additive or Multiplicative increase, with base stat or final damage. Abilities and mods.
For Volt shield "combine" effect, you have to use a weapon with toxin base damage (like a kuva/tenet toxin) and not a random weapon with toxin mod i guess :D
Been playing for 9 years and when I picked up protea I didn’t know the auger mods mess with her shield gate so I just thought her shield drones were butt cheeks
they do? i put full set augur on her for that shield regen.
@@Valek_Howisthistaken yeah if your shields break while you’ve got a drone on you you get a 3 second shield gate like hildryns but the auger mods put it back to 1.3 apparently
my fav frame is mirage and you can imagine my confusion tryan understand eclipse ;-; xD and then comparing it to roar etc, the usual stuff. just had to watch a vid or two to grasp it -.-

I was in a railjack mission the other day and someone was really confused how I was porting back to the railjack from enemy ships. They didn't know after unlocking the specific intrinsic level you could double click the omni to port back to the railjack. Not sure how long they had been playing but I'm sure a painful thing to not know about!
I could make a giant list. But I'll just name a few. Ash's weird af stat stick for bladestorm as well as how stat sticks work and the full stats of sudo exalteds in general. Vague descriptions in tooltips like ensnare (no where does it say ensnare is a 2x multiplier for whipclaw, only that it is an increase). Mesmer's skin description doesn't do it justice and hardly describes why it's good (you learn how good it is the moment you use it, but just saying). Vorunas 2. Breach surge. I think that's enough lol
I've been playing for 2 years now, I'm Revenant main and I wasn't aware that he made thralls from leftover geysers or about the existence of lesser thralls until I had TheKengineer and Azinvasions explain his kit in detail.

Volt's shield can also increase some beam weapons range(glaxion vandal for example)
i think DE should add a small text near the ability text once you hover, saying if its weapon (gun/exalted), melee or abilities.
that on itself would make a huge difference

most descriptions need a rework but for me the most annoying thing is when which multiplier is applied, when does it actually multiply and when or on which weapon is it additive instead, its so confusing sometimes. my brain still hurts when i think about the countless hours i studied the wf wiki.
Been playing for 3 years, out of the first 3 one my first warframes were wukong and at the time I didn't understand that his twin uses the guns I have equipped and that my defy's dmg is only increased by enemies hitting me😂

It's because they are on first ability so they don't consider as a exalted weapon to mod.
