Hey knightmare i really am thinking of picking hydroid up but im thinking about making a build where you can three of his four augments (viral tempest, pillfaring swarm, plunder augement "sorry forgotten its name...") But i also wanna incorperate breach surge build and nourish to this setup could you test to see if this could possible two builds with the three augements?

Bro I remember last year when I first started playing. I desperately wanted to unlock hydroid because I like water based powers. When I finally got him I was so disappointed I dropped the game. I might go back and play since he’s good now 😭
How about a Year 1 frames rework. Make all elemental frames immune to their respective elements. My wife Ember shouldn't be getting damage from environmental Fire procs.

Every new frame and every new rework has at least something to scale into higher-level content. The Viral Tempest augment is actually unbelievable, Kullervo saved us a slot in Melee Crit Chance and brought some amazingly strong damage chaining, making snipers, Glaives, and explosive weapons very, very powerful. On a side note, I got Crimson Dervish from a Tusk Lancer today, I’m feeling happy.
Eh it's not 100% necessary but it makes his tempest barrage a guaranteed room clearer rather than just armor stripping. Much more useful for pushing max level rather than just goofing around in steel path which already doesn't demand much out of base tempest barrage as it is now.

Plunder acts as a universal weapons buff. Breach Surge sparks are buffed by a universal weapon buff..... With this combo your breach Surge sparks are doing radiation and corrosive damage with add damage and status from plunder. Broken for sure.
I'm so glad that they rework this frame is so good that you don't have to put helminth abilities on him. All of his kit are so nice that you will think what abilities can you replace with helminth. All warframe should all be like this, like they all deserve this kind of treatment from pablo lol. A frame that uses all its original skills, without helminth, it feels like it maintained the originality and uniqueness of the frame

DE should release a "Classic" version of all pre-reworked bad frames, you can buy them from the Steel Meridian trash vendor like Flawed mods, so you can live that gloriously bad nostalgia occasionally 😂. Special 2nd passive ability called Golden Oldies "No shared affinity, and only 1/2 affinity earned, but double MR points for your dedication to the classics" 😂😂😂
So I’m trying to build the first one you showed and I have followed it to the T the only thing I don’t understand is how you’re 100% armor stripping it doesn’t work at least I can’t find any proof that it does.
I have been using build 01 6:14 except i am missing growing power using corrosive projection instead, I have exilus slot locked and molt augmented for arcane. It has been doing really well, feels good to play.
I wish I could make builds like this. I don't have time anymore to play as often as I want, and while I completely understand how these builds work, I cant get from point a to point b when I try to build something myself. I also always direct my clanmates your way when they need build help.
@@BetterCallKahl First yes he does. Second The only good ability is his bubble but its only good for defending points, You need to stack it for it to survive for more then a few seconds. So its not good for fast gameplay. His 4 is to slow and to short with no dmg. Yes the CC and armor strip is decent. again not good for fast gameplay since he just stands there and if hes not in his bubble while he does it, then he might die. They could rework him so that his bubble can be like a nullifer bubble it goes where Frost goes and he can still place it down if he wants too. 1 and 2 needs either complete rework or massive dmg boost 2 need bigger area too. 4 need range upgrade, Dmg upgrade and casting speed upgrade Rework to let Frost freeze enemies as the wave goes out when he activates it all frozen enemies are pulled to Frost. Then his 2 could be a short range aoe nuke around him instead of in a cone. 4 to cc and group then 2 to kill them 3 for survivability. 1 could be reworked to let you store more icicle and if you tap 1 you fire 1 of them if you hold you fire all like a missile barrage. but you always have at least 1 so you can always break your bubble. This version of Frost sure sounds better then the useless version we have to day. Frost is a old relic THAT needs a rework. Just like Hydroid did. Inarus needs one too. All of his abilities are useless as well.

Man I just finished revenant prime and i've been messing with him, but this looks like he might be my new main for a while when he's done crafting lol. Gives me the best parts of some of my favorite frames: khora, wukong, and zephyr Figured the hounds would be strong. I've yet to figure out how to do the granum stuff to even spawn a sister to start farming those. I know you put a coin thing into the hands, but it never lets me interact with them
I assume you haven't done Deadlock Protocol quest? The only other reason why hand won't let you in is 'Kill enemies nearby' prompt, but it's written in the middle of the screen if you try to interact without clearing enemies within 100m from the hand.
isnt everything being corrosive just overkill though? like with his passive, 1 skill is going to armor strip, or even a weapon, so every other skill being corrosive and having the ability to armor strip is kinda moot. i get he gets that corrosive bonus, but the armor strip seems like it should have been on a skill and not on a passive.
well, salt water is corrosive and the rate at which industries are dumping their toxins into the ocean, it might as well do some viral damage (hell even cause cancer)

Tbh, I think Helminth ruined Warframe's balance from bad to burning garbage. Hydroid's kit is very good now, but with Helminth it's just broken overpowered. People love to argue that it's great to have freedom of choice for that matter, but in this instance it's just bad design, since a few subsumeable abilities just outshine others by far. It's obvious that some ability synergies just shouldn't be, as the Warframe it comes from often can't benefit from it nearly as much as an other.
@@easy8077That would be a problem if DE was trying to expand regular Warframe gameplay (ala Circuit), but from what we ve seen, they will utilize content where our gear is not even needed, so I dont think anyone cares about balance then. Some Helminth synergies can lift Warframes up though and despite some broken combos, its a price I would be willing to pay anytime (Wrathful advance Umbra, Breach Surge Hydroid, Ensnare anyone etc.).

Keep progressing till you get to the mission the sacrifice. You get Excalibur umbra from the sacrifice. My personal experience with Excalibur umbra has been amazing, as he carried me to end game.

However, once you get operator, Umbra Excal is the inferior excal bc his semi sentience, removes your buffs, kills all synergy & makes swapping from operator to frame very, very inefficient. Unless you are one of founders with Excal Prime, Base excal is the superior Excal.
Ne zha is pretty good to get from the dojo, basically unkillable while doing decent dmg and cc. Nekros is pretty good if you play solo a lot since he spawns a small personal army and is good for farming. It really just depends on your playstyle.

@@MIGHTY_LEG3ND I tried to look it up, and found no definitive answer. There was a qna thing where someone implied it's possible, but I'd definitely take it with a grain of salt. The question was "can a subsume two abilities to one Warframe?" And the answer was "No. You can only subsume one ability per configuration" It seems like they're saying you can put for example roar on configuration a, and ensnare on configuration b, but who knows if the person knew what they were talking about.

Base hydroid should be able to 100% armor strip without any build but only if you get 10 corrosive stacks

You know something 🤔imagine how dope his 3rd would’ve been if they just made you move around way faster , not taking a lot of energy while drowning and adding status affection to enemies , when exiting ability they are still temporarily stunned/ drowning adding extra cc and dps, but this new hydroid is awesome either way

Figured the hounds would be strong. I've yet to figure out how to do the granum stuff to even spawn a sister to start farming those. I know you put a coin thing into the hands, but it never lets me interact with them
I assume you haven't done Deadlock Protocol quest? The only other reason why hand won't let you in is 'Kill enemies nearby' prompt, but it's written in the middle of the screen if you try to interact without clearing enemies within 100m from the hand.
isnt everything being corrosive just overkill though? like with his passive, 1 skill is going to armor strip, or even a weapon, so every other skill being corrosive and having the ability to armor strip is kinda moot. i get he gets that corrosive bonus, but the armor strip seems like it should have been on a skill and not on a passive.

@@thatguyintherain3168 I mean it sucked enemies inside the puddle when they touched it And basically disintegrated them and made you invincible save a nullifier enemy and if you had good mods it lasted a while
it was very, slow, if u cast it at the wrong time, u had to walk, and or u could uncast it then recast it, which was annoying, if they made it like in splatoon that would have been alot better and more fun, and if it had the buffs of this rework, without the range, it would still be op but not too op

Tbh, I think Helminth ruined Warframe's balance from bad to burning garbage.
Hydroid's kit is very good now, but with Helminth it's just broken overpowered.
People love to argue that it's great to have freedom of choice for that matter, but in this instance it's just bad design, since a few subsumeable abilities just outshine others by far.
It's obvious that some ability synergies just shouldn't be, as the Warframe it comes from often can't benefit from it nearly as much as an other.
@@easy8077That would be a problem if DE was trying to expand regular Warframe gameplay (ala Circuit), but from what we ve seen, they will utilize content where our gear is not even needed, so I dont think anyone cares about balance then.
Some Helminth synergies can lift Warframes up though and despite some broken combos, its a price I would be willing to pay anytime (Wrathful advance Umbra, Breach Surge Hydroid, Ensnare anyone etc.).
there are other ways to play the game quit acting like a weirdo and grow up gettin mad becuz you don’t kno that there all other ways to play the game 😂😂

Keep progressing till you get to the mission the sacrifice. You get Excalibur umbra from the sacrifice. My personal experience with Excalibur umbra has been amazing, as he carried me to end game.
Revenant. Trinity. Definitely nezha.
Nezha, Volt, Ember, & Mag are all great choices for starting out. & all of these will be valuable late game also.

However, once you get operator, Umbra Excal is the inferior excal bc his semi sentience, removes your buffs, kills all synergy & makes swapping from operator to frame very, very inefficient. Unless you are one of founders with Excal Prime, Base excal is the superior Excal.
Ne zha is pretty good to get from the dojo, basically unkillable while doing decent dmg and cc. Nekros is pretty good if you play solo a lot since he spawns a small personal army and is good for farming. It really just depends on your playstyle.

@@MIGHTY_LEG3ND I tried to look it up, and found no definitive answer. There was a qna thing where someone implied it's possible, but I'd definitely take it with a grain of salt.
The question was "can a subsume two abilities to one Warframe?" And the answer was "No. You can only subsume one ability per configuration"
It seems like they're saying you can put for example roar on configuration a, and ensnare on configuration b, but who knows if the person knew what they were talking about.
