I’m glad someone else noticed that the whole quiz thing Il Makiage does is really weird! They advertise things as “custom” but all the quizzes do is match you with existing products. I remember when their first foundation quiz became a thing, and they had all the questions about skin type, and coverage/finish preferences, but they only had 1 foundation, so everyone got the same result. All the quiz did was try to shade match. I’m convinced that they’re basically tricking customers into participating in market research. They’re trying to get information about age groups so they know where to spend advertising budget, and all the other info is for future product development. The quizzes do nothing for the consumer, but a lot for their business.
Agreed! The quiz sounds somewhat like a ploy to gain more insight into their demographic.. not necessarily a bad thing but still feels a little pointless to the end-user!

I actually think this shirt is very cute! If you wear it with simpler textures, shapes in the other clothes, chunky boots it actually would make a cool, casual outfit! Also that sun catcher is screaming "play with me" for a cat. It sure is multipurpose!

I've had a terrible few weeks, first my emotional support dog had to have surgery to remove a tumor, then the biopsy showed she has an aggressive, fast growing cancer and I can't afford the radiation treatments so I will eventually have to put her down but for now I'm taking it day by day because she is still acting normal so I'm trying to just spend as much time with her as possible. I also woke up super sick today so I was really glad you posted a video today. I really love these types of videos & I adore seeing Moonie in your videos, he is so adorable! I'm really excited to see your renovation videos too.
I love these videos that you do. Some of these products look great, I've particularly been looking at period products to help with cramps so it might be something I look into more. With regards to that shirt, it looks SUPER cute on you with the sleeves rolled up. I know it is long, but you could either belt it and maybe wear it like a shirt dress OR you could do a french tuck into trousers or a skirt OR tie it up in the middle or side, like how you were holding it. Then it would even cuter. I think half the time, we don't know how to style things that are out of our comfort zone. Once you do, then you'll get an even better idea if you love it or hate it. Button ups like that are great as an over jacket type thing for a tank top and shorts, leave it completely unbuttoned, great for the girl that gets cold in the summer
The shirt is so cute! I do have a recommendation that might make you feel more comfortable with wearing it. If you tie it like you kept almost doing in the video, unbutton the top shirt button and wear a white vest top underneath. Maybe using the starry shirt as an over-shirt would suit your style better? With some plain black jeans, maybe a white plain top/vest under and those cool new black boots. If you don't like the length you could try tying it at the waist to shorten the shirt and exaggerate your waistline xx :)
I have a cycle soother and the only problem with it is you can set the buttons off whilst you're wearing it so the heat or the vibration get set off or turned off which is annoying if you want to use them. It's okay if you're laying down but it can get quite hot. Didn't work well for me (I have pcos and primary dysmenorrhea) personally which was disappointing.
Can't use mine, I wanted it for being able to go out in for my Endometriosis and had seen so many good comments on FB, buts it's soooooooooo loud and also even the lowest heat setting is really really hot even with my blanket on it left a red mark on me.

The device for period cramps seems like such a good idea if youre on the go. My only concern is if it extends or if they did another size. Im plus sized and honestly i keel over in so much pain from period cramps so that would be perfect!
You get cramps because the blood is thicker, heat thins blood and that’s why heat helps period cramps. You can use rice in cloth bags and heat it up in the microwave or use a heating pad and it’ll do the same thing.

If you put a little bit of moisturizer on elbow and knees before tanning as they are a little dryer than the rest of the skin hope this helps
