Another goodie!! I would really appreciate watching you clean up a high-end gaming PC with a nice GPU and a ton of fans, with one of those fancy cases that have glass panels. And a water block with a radiator. Watch you do excellent cable management I bet you would do a super nice, very thorough job. Something along that path would definitely improve your viewership and boost this channel. You should attempt to do keyboards and other peripherals. Hi Joe, I would love to find a PC like this to clean it for sure. To be honest this is maybe the most complicated part for me. Finding PCs who are dusty enough for the channel. So for the moment I can find some old ones, but for sure I will try to find more recent ones. I can say that it's one of my goals for 2023! mmmh on my side I would say that I just prefer dirtier computers 😅 I mean, as I don't fake the dust, it is hard to find real PCs with real dust who are interesting to shoot for the channel. So I take what I find. It is for sure easier to find interesting old computers. But I would love to clean more recent ones also, and I will try to find some actively for futur episodes. But nice to have your opinion Rambern392. Be sure about that I will still have old computer in the next videos 😘
My father had one of these chassis. I remember some models didn’t have the portable external drive option. I’ve even burnt some discs with lightscribe.
thats a good service for that good old hp machine. Audio is about perfect if not for that pesky humming in one part. camera work is really good! overall it sounds and looks amazing. I hope people don't think its as easy as opening and cleaning a power supply though, that could be really dangerous... I mentioned in old videos that i felt like it was too jumpy with the amount of cuts, not this time, it really was on point. Really, great stuff!
It is really nice to read your comment Soortes. When I decided to change the video editing to remove these jumps during the real cleaning parts I of cours had your initial comment in mind. I even wanted to ask your feedback for this video, but didn't want to bother you again or didn't even know if you was still watching my vids 😅 For the sound, I'm pretty happy about the result, but you are right! I just forgot to turn on the main mic for 2 sequences here 11:07 and here 18:23. Fortunately I still have my old mic as a backup so I had to use the sound from it for these. 🤦♂️ For the camera work... well, I also missed to record properly 2 transitions at 22:06 and 22:32. It is at the end of the video, so I guess I was a bit tired.after 1 full day of shooting 🤦♂️ Anyway, it is still not perfect yet, and I know where is I have to put my efforts on for the next video, but I'm pretty proud to say that it is globally my best episode ❤️ Now I keep an eye on the stats to see if people like this new video editing and I will take decisions for the video editing of the next episodes! This one wasn't so bad, looks like it cleaned up very well! This reminds me i have a very similar machine still kicking around somewhere. I should clean it up, even if it's just for time capsule purposes. That one had a video card though! Other than that, i should probably suggest you pick up an electric duster like a DataVac, as those cans of air are wasteful and very bad for the environment ;)
yey ypoora1, If you make a cleaning of this desktop, just take a before/after pic! would love to see that! About the air duster cans, i agree about that I should find something to replace it. I have in mind a DataVac or compressor, but still don't know which one would be the best especially if we consider that the video should keep the "satisfaction effect". I still have to do some tests. To be honest, I had in mind that I could ask brands to give me their DataVac to test them but not sure this channel is big enough for the request 😅 As you see, I'm pretty sure I will use a DataVac or a compressor in the futur, but need to test some before. I have purchased myself a "Retro" PC from 2000s but the power supply is not working. But encouraged by your videos I deep cleaned it as well.

Hey, your one of the most underrated creators on this platform. I can only imagine how long it takes to get these great camera angles. What do you do with all these PCs once they are clean? Do you collect them? If so, give us a tour.

I also think that It is definitely helping me to have my own "TH-cam identity". So I will continue to work on this to still improve it video after video. To answer your question, some computer are coming from people who let me clean it, but they are still using it, so I just give them back after cleaning. Some others are really old computers and yes, I keep them in a basement. I will make a pic of them and make a community post when I have more. Good idea. I love PC bath time! lol. Anyway, one little suggestion is to clean the thermal paste off the CPU before cleaning the motherboard so you don't accidentally get that stuff everywhere. Also, your monitor stand is dusty. :P

I used your videos to clean my HP and put new thermal paste on the CPU. I used the 13.9W/m-k BSFF you recommended, but put a 6.0 W thermal pad under Nothbridge sink... should I take it off and use the paste, or is 6W/m-k conductive enough for that? I suppose I should do the southbridge too.
Well, thermal pad you used for the Northbridge should generally be sufficient but thermal paste can offer slightly better heat transfer. oh you think? to be honest I was surprised to not be able to see "HP" on the motherboard, but didn't think about that it was not an oem one. I received it like that so... I guess the previous owner changed it for it's reason. maybe to fix an issue 😅

@@french.satisfactory The maker is Asus, you can tell by the font on the model number.
mmmh The only thing I can find on the motherboard is that "IPIBL-LB". I did a quick research and found that plenty google results are showing that it's an Asus. So I guess you are right MarkTheMorose 😎
@@french.satisfactory no need to see HP, most one boards are green some orange/yellow but this one has orange Sata cables which tell the truth
But what do the orange Sata cables say? Asus ?
