Playlist: • Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Going through two action stages in a row. Metal Harbor was one of my favorite stages with it's music and everything. Also facing against the first Shadow boss fight and going through Green Forest.
Played via Dolphin emulator with widescreen hack, played with PS2 controller.

Yo, I still find that line completely savage. Shadow is truly Sonic's greatest rival as he's able to keep up with the quips.

One thing I always found unfair about this boss is that if you lose a life, it will play the cutscene as normal but Shadow gets a head start.

That's Why I came
plus the reason for that was when they where making the American version for the game they swapped the Japanese text for the English text thinking it would be okay. Apparently the words in English are longer then Jappenise so that why we get parts where the text overlaps during cutscenes.

5:09 Why's there an unobtainble 1-Up in the Cutscene? I don't know why but that's triggering me.
Naruku2121 what else is more triggering is when shadow runs away right after Eggman tells him the island is going to blow up, suddenly he is completely frozen a split second later

I just realized that Sonic and Shadow are already halfway through the stage at 4:48, if you notice its the same exact area as 6:45 lol
C'mahn Sonic Team..you could've at least set up a platform behind the starting point of the stage for Shadow and Sonic's opening cutscene to at least have it make more sense why he starts where he does in the stage :P
Commenting just for fun, actually they are on the same platform where the fight took place and the platform is even accesible in both single player and multiplayer, you just have to jump and do a homing attack right at the begining, that ramp where the stage starts, the platfrom is right behind it. Its tricky getting there but its def possible. Fun lil thing i discovered myself when it first released on gc
Not at 4:48 tho :o I know what you're talking about that the platform you fight Shadow on is behind the beginning of the level, but at that time stamp you can see that the platform they're on in the cutscene is the same as the one in the second time stamp.
It's a platform halfway through the level where Sonic swings around the vine rope on the tree and then has to do a few jumps on to some springs angled upward on floating rocks.

Probably cuz the game wasn't designed to be played on a widescreen that big so as a result the camera is showing Shadow where he usually wouldn't be seen due he's supposed to be off screen at that point.

Okay this whole collection of levels is why the boost formula could never do it for me. Too much emphasis on the speed over the awesome platforming and setpieces.
