    I had lessons from 5 different pro’s, none of them ever explained the backswing so simple as you… thank you very much, gonna check some other video’s on your channel

    Excellent video Harry on how to attain the perfect takeaway and simplify the entire backswing! I feel this is one of your best "show and tell" videos you have made on this subject matter! As I commented to you before, this is the move I have been working on. The alignment stick extended to the club shaft drill is one that I have been doing! I either learn or validate from your videos! If viewers "take to heart" what you are teaching, their golf will only get better! Well Done Harry!!!! Keep up the good work!!

    Hi Harry..could you do a video lesson on the proper left/lead knee movement in the swing...when my back is tight i will bend my left knee too much which leads to a more inside takeaway..i have a feeling a lot of older golfers and guys who have jobs where they sit all day have the same issue....cheers

      @GooseDosser Thank you! Oh no, well i speak about this topic in a lot of my videos and one coming out very soon all to do with the swing path... and this applies if you suffer with the over the top move!

    Thank you, ive been trying to figure out the feel of the 2nd part (post takeaway) of the backswing for a long time, and this makes sense. But i’d like to point out that your video is too long, possibly spending too long on explaining the tendencies-despite it’s importance for many. I was tuning out at that point, but somehow decided to listen in. A concise 10 minute video would be ideal. Tx for the tip and good luck.

    Excellent video Harry there are very few videos on You Tube which show the correct movements from P1 through to P4 - and your video nails it. Would you consider doing an explanation of the correct wrist movements from top of the backswing to impact?

    One thing you can do for the back swing takeaway is make a straight away. Wrap a gear tie just blow your grip and angle it 45° and take the club back to when the gear tie is parallel with your feet line alignment stick. I do this and it works great

    • @harryshawgolf
      @harryshawgolf  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's a very interesting way to work on the takeaway, always great to learning new ways of taking the club back in the golf swing!

    Good video Harry, I've seen a lot of players releasing at the ball instead of the release happening past the ball. Do you have any drills for this, i use a slo- mo drill for numerous parts but this needs something different i think.

    • @harryshawgolf
      @harryshawgolf  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you, I’ve got a few drills I can share with you. I’ll take note of this to explain in thorough but simple detail in another video. But for the time being. If you search my name and how to release golf it should come up with previous videos I’ve done on this topic.
