This series.. Changed my whole life and made me a person that could love beyond imagination... I became a person who was more than him... I dont know how... Now i feel lost... I never got a chance to open this series because i didn't wanted to remind of what happiness would make me feel... And there is nothing i can do... Each day.. The speed dating event I brought a ticket to got canceled without my notice. I was there waiting at the bar at TGIF until I found out late. Went to the nearest arcade for awhile... saw too many couples. Now I'm at Bonchon eating alone. Friends are busy, family busy,... spending a Sunday night like this while listening to this hurts. But I love this show anyways.

hey, before watching this show i used to convince myself that love isn't real. even tho that was the only thing that made me have passion in life. i remember waking up everyday, and believing a little less cause you know this is how the world works. people are creating a reality which love and friendship holds no meaning in it. and man i was sinking into it, i don't want ro sound cliché but after watching himym people i don't think i ever wanna quit. like ever !! there's nothing in this world that we need more than love and i am not going to give that up just cause some people say that love won't last forever. well, nothing is going to last but it might be worth the ride.

you know that begining speech would actually mean something if ted never gave up robin and met the mother, he says how he's totally in love with robin because he can't move on and find someone else, because if he did then it wouldn't be love, but that's what he does he lets robin go, and finds someone else, so his whole speech means nothing, he's just proved his point that his feelings for robin and really anyone are kind of disposable and he only has those feelings when he can't be with someone he wants to be with, this show can be really poignant at times but other times it's just structurally wrong
I disagree. In the first speech he says he'll do anything beyond all rationale, if that means Robin will be happy. At that point, it meant giving her up for Barney and getting her that necklace. We all love in different ways. So idk at least for me, being in love with the mother does not necessarily mean loving Robin any less. It's just always there, but in a different form. They just got their 'timing' right in the end.
