Unfortunately my ex fiance wasn't ever in love with me. She just wanted whatever convenience she could milk me for so she could abandon me when her priorities felt like using the freak show and wanted to use her for whatever reason she was always in such a rush to sprint out on US TO accommodate her priorities and end our relationship for her priorities.

It's okay to question their love for you but never let it be a question about you. It may hurt and it may linger, but it was not your fault that they did not show you the respect or the love you deserve. You were not the issue. Fortunately, God is also perfect in love, so 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ left His throne in Heaven and came to this earth as a man. He lived a perfect, sinless life and He so loved us, that He took the punishment of our sin, when He suffered horribly on the cross. Isaiah 53 tells us that his face was marred beyond recognition and that he suffered more than any man. But right before His death, Jesus said "It is finished" meaning the the debt for our sins was paid in full. But on the 3rd day, Jesus conquered death and He was resurrected. So that means now, we can go free from the wrath of God's judgment not by earning it, but rather as a free gift of grace, if you accept Jesus. But, a gift can either accepted or rejected.
So if you want to accept the free gift or forgiveness, of grace, and of salvation, this is what you should do:
Humbly admit to God that you have sinned against Him, and through gratitude in the sacrifice of His Son, repent (turn away) from your old sinful ways. Then, confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, your Savior. Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried, and was resurrected 3 days later. Roman's 10:9 and 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 says that if you do this you are saved. I'm not telling you to get religious, because Christianity is not a religion, but a relationship with God. Religion says DO, but Jesus Christ says DONE! Ephesians 2:8-9 says For it is by grace we are saved through faith, not of works, lest any man should boast.
And the moment you do this, God will grant you a new heart, which does not take pleasure in sin and He will give you eternal life. Nothing on this earth even close to compares to what awaits believers.
What you do with this information will determine where you will be for Eternity; meaning accepting Christ is the single most important decision you'll EVER make. And all of us here, believer or atheist, know that this is very true.
Jesus Christ wants YOU to come to Him this very moment; don't even think about sleeping until you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, because your tomorrow isn't guaranteed. You could die at any moment. Hebrews 9: 27 "It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this, the Judgment."

Being broken by the most important person in your life has been the worst feeling for the past 5 years and counting, hurts even more they don't care at all about the pain they have caused and continue to cause.

That's a little too true for me. It's been almost a decade and I still remember her, I still can't get her out of my head. I still feel I haven't gotten closure, I'd give so much to see her, talk to her, I don't want to get back together, I just want to understand why we can't. I'd also give so much to just forget her, to never think of her, never see her face, yet I still want to understand why I can't do that either.

Spent 26 years of my life with the woman that I gave my heart, my mind , my soul to. Gave her my world. 25y years of marriage, a marriage where we never swore at one another, never called each other a bad name not once-ever. She was not only my wife for 25 years she was my best friend. We had so much in common. As time went on, our son left home for college and to start a life, she changed jobs. Went to work at a public school system. I dont know if being around single women and men had a factor in it or the fact that we had empty nest or she was going through the change of life. Told me she was having periods every 2 weeks, but said there was nothing wrong with her that it was all my fault. I admit I was selfish, I admit I took her for granted. Yes I admit that was focused on other things in life I guess I felt were important and not realizing she was the most important thing in my life. But to look at me the day she walked out, and to tell me she never loved me, that she loved me but was never in love with me....it was like taking a knife and stabbing me in the heart. She then dragged the divorce out for 18 months, yet this is what she wanted, her new life, her freedom. And like a lot of people, she started running the bars, sleeping with who knows how many. But how can anyone do that to someone? 26 years together, 25 of it married. I didnt know how to feel and still dont here it is 6 years later. The truth of the matter is, I still love her. But why do this?
I wish you more power to get through this, i am sorry for whatever has happened but maybe there is a greater purpose to all of this in the end, hold on mate, keep going even when it's difficult

There is a far greater grief you will have to overcome and that's when you loose someone who's still alive.
All i know is that i did and still love her, i cared for her, i would have made her my queen. Sad i was always fooling myself, sad i didn't do enough to make her care about me, sad i got too involved knowing she wasn't emotionally available the way i wanted, sad i didn't listen when she said she didn't want a relationship, what's even sadder is that i gave up on her.

I worked 2times harder than i was working when i was with him after our breakup... I did not allow the pain to come in between me and my work which is also my passion and today i am earning 4 times more than when i was with him, i am able to enjoy my new life style and i've finally met someone who really knows how to appreciate the kind of person i am and who truly love me.
