As a 58 year old man who's in his 28th year of being alone. These points resonate with me. The key to my happiness has been being happy with who I am and where I am with my life. Not relying on a relationship to be happy. 1.) This is excellent advice. No matter how you portray who you are through words. The truth will come out during a relationship. Take the time in the relationship to let this happen naturally for both you and your prospective partner. 2.) This one is the key to long term happiness with a partner. The looks will fade, but the solid stuff is what you'll hang on to in the long term. 3.) Sex, as you age will become less and less important. As your body ages and your hormones bottom out. It just won't mean much. As for men, don't let that sex drive destroy your life. Bad decisions in this department are life changing. Point of interest here. Never get into a relationship where the desire isn't 100% genuine. I've seen many friends enter the "Rollo Tomassi" transactional sex phase in a long term relationship. It's brutal mentally on a men. 4.) Ahhhhhh rejection. The ultimate confidence and manhood killer. The more you buy in to what she's selling the worse it feels. It's a numbers game plain and simple. Set yourself up for success by looking, acting, and presenting yourself in the best light. She has the vagina, so your playing with her ball on her home field.. It's best to have the attitude that you don't need her. If you get rejected, just thank her and move one. Don't take it personal. 5.) Don't take your life to seriously. Laugh at yourself and just know your going to screw up everyday. Find and do things that make you happy. While your searching for this relationship. Continue to make yourself better in all aspects of your life. Better mentally, better physically, better financially, and better spiritually. This is the one aspect of your life you can control and will get 100% return on your resource. Finally, NEVER judge your sense of self worth on whether or not you have a woman or your good with women. You are a good man and you deserve happiness in your life. "CARPE DIEM"
I agree you shouldn't always tell her what she wants to hear, she needs to feel you're not afraid to express your own opinion. However always telling her the truth can backfire really bad. For example if you're 40 and still a virgin and she asks you about it in the beginning stages of dating, don't tell her, it would be a big turnoff to her and not knowing this wouldn't hurt her. Sure you should try to be honest and truthful as much as possible but most relationships are bound to fail if everyone would always be telling the truth.
You absolutely nailed it, this recently happened to me and it’s so clear now. I clicked with a beautiful girl who has a ton of attention surrounding her and is out with her friends all the time. It started off so good but it just can’t work with a girl like that.
What she is saying is raise your vibration if you want a high value woman, so you can be an energetic match. Your energy will show up in your body language, aura, facial expressions, eye contact and whatever little you say. I am learning it the hard way but worth it.
