In my Nexus, after "booting the device" (last step), word ' Google' appears on the screen for a minute and then disappears. Thereafter, multi-coloured dots do not appear and phone looks dead!!

My mobile is LG Nexus 5, my problem is, i just given my mobile update, after update it is asking the password, same time there is a new screen above the password screen (new screen is - Tap to speak ). new screen is google Tap screen. so i canot do anything. it is stucked up. but i can switch off, switch ON, but, if i am Tap the screen, it is not moving or not changing. and also i canot give the password, because the password screen is in downside of the Tap screen. I think this tutorial addresses the problem more accurately, assuming that your device went into a bootloop (because that's what most people are reporting).

The cable you're using can harm your device BTW. There's this guy who's testing all the USB C to USB A cables. and writing reviews about them. He said the one you're using is harmful

EVERYONE THAT IS HAVING BOOTLOOP PROBLEMS.... it is not software related. It is the processor chip inside of phone. You need heat gun to reattach chip. I don't have heat gun so I used pieces of playing card to push chip down. And then I screwed the mid frame back down with pieces of card still inside. And it works perfectly.
It's the big Samsung chip. Yes I said black Samsung chip. Take off heat shield to access it. It's the biggest black chip.
You just detach and reattach it?
Perhaps a folded piece of aluminum foil would be better for heat transfer

Fake guys , you need first to run your os to go on developers mode and enable oem unlocking and USB debugging and after you can do this "unlocking bootloader" think , so this guy gets views you don't get the bootloader unlocked and let use the thumb down

Yes. As of yesterday my Nexus 6p is bootlooping. Purchased June-2016. The oem bootlock = locked. Looks like the phone is bricked :-[

don't need this, just keep unlocking and after bunch of unsuccessful unlocks your devise will reset to factory automatically
