How to Fix Nexus 6P and 5X Bootloop (BLOD)

- In this video I show you how to fix the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X bootloop using ADB and Fastboot tools. This requires your phone to have an unlocked bootloader before the bootloop has occurred or OEM unlocking enabled.

After using the pixel experience v10, everything seems to work ok, except the camera. The camera on a new restart, works ok for a bit, and then later on, when you open camera app, camera view just goes black, and pressing the shoot button doesn't have any effect, I guess this might be a side effect of disabling the error cores.

So I flashed the twrp recovery but I already had the regular TWRP on my device. Now I have no TWRP. The 4core version isn't there. I don't have stock recovery either. Just goes to the Google logo and bootloops. Any advice from anyone will help
When I try to boot twrp it says that the command failed because 'device is locked. Cannot flash images'. How can I unlock the phone?
If the device is already bootlooping, unfortunately you cannot unlock the bootloader to flash TWRP. One way to get past the bootloop and enable OEM unlocking in the developer options menu is by heating up the device to extreme temperatures until the performance cores are disabled, although this is highly not recommended.

I fried my motherboard 😂. I'm just going to buy a used one for cheap. Old phone but I miss mine. Are all the 6p and 5x phones like this?

I believe the website hosting the ROM is under maintenance, try the stock ROM until it is available again.
can you share another ram link?
Video should be labeled, Only with the bootloader unlocked.
Can you recommend a rom? Says your link isn't available for nexus 6p.
You can go to XDA developers forum for your device and find a ROM
@@akvaithi I tried to install the TWRP image file the way you said. I already had a different version of TWRP. The regular one. Didn't work Now that I tried installing the 4core TWRP I have no TWRP. Just keeps rebooting. Advice?
This was super useful. We did this and we were able to bring our Nexus 6p back to life. We used the Pixel Experience because it did not work with Factory Images. Not sure if that information is useful to anyone. Also, we also had to put the Nexus 6p in front of our desk heater for like 10 minutes to allow it to boot. We skipped all the setup just to get to setting and enable developer options and USB debugging.

I tried everything , even turned on debugging option but still phone needs heat to turn on and when it gets cooled - it turns off! what is the solution?
@@kakarot1132 Once it does turn on, you need to enable usb debugging and oem unlocking in the developer settings, then reboot to the bootloader where you can flash the 4 core patch, then youre good to go.
@@akvaithi can you please tell me where I will get proper 4 cores patch ? or is it already given in your links? i was almost close to revive the phone man! but because of again bootloop, I lost my hope! I will try once again!

If it says no os installed within TWRP, go ahead and reboot. If it doesn't boot an os, try to reinstall TWRP and make sure your bootloader is unlocked.

I'm not sure why it's not working, what custom ROM are you using?

How to unblock bootloader?
If it is already bootlooping, it will be difficult to unlock it. One method is to heat up the device until it boots but I don't recommend it.

Make sure you use the TWRP 4 core patch from the XDA link instead of the regular one. If you are still unable to boot, it might mean your bootloader is still locked.
