- On the VATSIM network controlling at London Heathrow in FULL! you can see exactly what it looks like to control on Euroscope in VATUK's busiest airport; from start to finish.
This video is best viewed on mobile as I had to render it at 720p in order to keep the file size down. Due to the fine details in the video, it has been made difficult to see at parts. Thanks for watching!

You just need to think about what different stations will want from you whike planning your flight, handoffs are the easiest, since you know you'll go from DEL to GND to TWR to APR/DEP to CTR and then back down the order, just look the frequencies up before you are odered to switch and its no problemo :P
just put in the next frequency in ur stack so you know when the controller tells u to switch lol
Angerpull I know what you are talking about, I had the same problem, but you just have to expect what they will say and then it gets easier, trust me.
Controllers at LHR will be quite jealous to find out their vritual counterparts can take care of their cat in the midst of a session :-)
Very interesting & entertaining video. Would be interesting to understand what you're doing all the time (aspiring atc here).
It helps not having in your mind, that people cant be hurt by your or the pilots mistake. Had a long talk with a real controller a few weeks back that also controls on vatsim

When I fly to or in Europe, I try to avoid England. They have the worst accent and do not ANNUNCIATE. Every sentence is one big word. And this is from an American.

I like your setup (layout, colors, and so on). Do you use any plugins, and may I ask for your configuration file/profile/settings? I am not sure if it contains sensitive information so make sure to get rid of that first.

This may sound stupid but does Euroscope only work for airports in Europe or can it work for other airports in the world?
This reminds me of delhi ground. They think the faster they speak the more professional they are. 🙉 I think you would be a much better controller if you would just slow down. Like no need for break break in a 3 ac environment...

Great video! I subscribed to your channel because of the VATSIM videos. Nevertheless, I'd enjoy other types of video. I personally find CSGO really boring, but I do like Rust. It's just my opinion, but I wanted to give you some encouragement to make the change!

Thankyou! I don't actually fly or control on VATIM much anymore. I have just upgraded my PC but installing flight sim, vatsim client, euroscope, all my addons is such a pain! I haven't had the energy to sort it all out haha.

As tower do you have to give people clearances, and taxi clearances when ground is offline or is it your choice?
+aidan downes you cover all the positions below you that aren't online so yes, you do need to give them clearance etc

Because a pilot that is unfamiliar with an airport layout may think you're talking about a taxiiway. But when you say pluto, it is obvious it isn't a taxiway

Hi, I’m trying to get into the Vatsim atc world but Ive just got a minor question with euroscope, how do you get the green black and gray colour scheme?
Platinum Power it's a setting in the SMR file but can be edited on endoscope itself. I just can't remember how! It's been a while

Your voice audio seems to be delayed almost a second versus all the other audio and video.
Also, why do you speed up your instructions as ATC then slow down to normal again when you're narrating the video?
Firstly, I have no idea about the voice audio. Also, I reckon it became a habit for me when I used to control, as I tended to control Gatwick and Heathrow (two busiest airports on VATSIM - by stats) :)

I am confused. Does everyone join the same multiplayer server or can you see each aircraft even if they are in free flight?
srtcharles65 it is free flight, but you connect to the server by a client. You are all connecting to the same 'network of interlinked servers', in essence

Zak Kilpatrick I’m a PPL holder at the moment currently training for the commercial side, so not in an airline as of yet. Hopefully in the near future however!
The way I really see it. You shouldn't tailor what content you make to a specific audience. Don't just make rust videos because you are looking at a new market. You should make the kind of videos you enjoy making and that is all that should really matter.
The larger majority of people subscribed to this channel are subscribed for vatsim/fsx. I play a lot more rust and Csgo than I fly on vatsim and I've bee enjoying it greatly. the problem is, is the other types of videos are not well received etc. I enjoy both

+Naters305 I got my ratings on VATUK so the system is slightly different. but my tip for you is try and find someone that can run sweatbox sessions for you (someone that isn't your mentor outside of mentoring) because practice makes perfect :)

Hi there, I am getting back into VATSIM at the moment, ever since going away on holiday to Lanzarote (hehe). So I may go back into controlling in the near future. As for now, I am flying a lot. Watch this space mate :)

Ross Massie as long as you complete the training courses provided/linked then no. I'm still waiting to actually become an S1 as I still need to have a mentoring session but I passed my theory exam with a 18/20 mark with 16 (80%) being the pass mark
