As an Indian-American and always seeing and hearing such negative aspects of my home country this really was beautiful and well made and was such accurate portrayal of such a gorgeous country and I appreciate it. Thank you:)

As an Indian-American who sees such negative portrayals of my mother country in the media, I am so impressed with the respectful way you guys shot this video. I am so glad you enjoyed your trip, Shay - India is a beautiful country and has a big heart.
Just because she shows only the good sides, shes respectful? But when someone shows bad and good then its mean right :P Every country has its good and bad sides! In my country i think so it has been displayed a realistic way, rich culture but big gap between rich and poor.
Srilu P. She just showed it as it is??? If she only had to show the good sides, the whole video would probably amount to only the hotel she stayed at and the monuments they visited. The whole city was just....dirty

Closer to the end of the video, when the driver shares his philosophy/wisdom about the cycle of life, humanity, the wastefulness of arrogance and hate was beautiful and spiritually uplifting.
I genuinely wanna thank you for doing this cuz everyone makes videos about India degrading it and showing it as a place where there is no room for "civilized culture" and trust me that makes a lot people here mad cuz no one appreciated the county, culture or people. And what the man said at the end honestly was so beautiful. Stuff like this makes you realize that humanity isn't lost and that something beautiful can be lying next to us and we may never see it.
A whole new planet, totally different from the rest of us, wonder how did they manage to survive for so long, surpassing Romans, Egyptians, Persians, Mayans, those people are an anomaly in history.
There is a huge difference between higher society and lower society in India. In Mumbai you can see world's most expensive house and just few kilometers away you can witness large slums. This is India. Every state here is a different country in itself with different language, culture and climate. Here only you can see The great Himalayas, one of world's biggest desert, world's most rainy place, temples having more money then the Government, and climate of 50 & -50 degree Celsius altogether.
This is honestly one of the most beautiful and interesting travelling videos I've seen. Also, the guy at the end made me tear up. He told such a simple truth that so many people yet need to understand in order for the world to become a more peaceful place. Waiting for another Shaycation!
As an Indian, it is just so amazing to see someone appreciate my country's culture and see our country as something more than a poor, developing and snake charmer's country. Shay, in so glad you visited India and liked it! It makes me so so so proud! 💕

There is so much culture of India in this video and I fell in love!!!! Thank you Shay for taking us with you!!!!
Is it just me or is she just literally perfect?
Alyssa Metzer She definitely is
Yeah Shay is stunning. #speechless
The videographer also did a wonderful job.
I am an Indian and I was blown away by the fact that she visited India..have been following her since Pretty Little Liars.
India is truly an amazing place. Lots of love.💖💖
I cried at the end 😭 the guy’s speech was so beautiful
This is what the old parts of India look like. The newer ones are quite different and contrasting
Geetika newer parts are like any other urban places in the world....
The 'old parts' of India are it's true spiritual and beautiful essence unlike the 'new parts' that are like any other chaotic urban city in the world.
so i think by those lines you said you are ashamed of old parts of India
The editing, the effects, the way India is portrayed omg i love this video soooo much. Love you Shay 💛❤️💛❤️
"I will never say the traffic in LA is bad again" i died😂😂😂🤣

Kinda funny how she has seen more of my country than me myself have 😂😂 being poor sucks 😂
same man, been living in Mumbai 16 years not seen 80%
:(
I feel you
the irony of being an indian. country is full of culture but you're too poor to explore it all
The words, the thoughts of the driver at 15:58 made me cry. He has such beautiful thoughts about life and love.
This is amazing! Born in India, but growing up in America...I find this Shaycation so inspiring! Thanks so much and Happy International Women's Day!!
I cant even describe how much this opened my eyes. Thank you shay. I have so much more appreciation for this world and how even the poorest can find good in everything. I'm a little teary eyed. Well done.
Sam Rahn Excuse me...!!!! “poorest of nations... "..??? Brush up your geography and GK.
Sam Rahn Lol. "Poorest"? Ignorant person. Just because a lot of people here live simple lives doesn't mean they're necessarily poor.
These videos are so mesmerizing. Can’t wait for Shay to travel somewhere new just so we get another travel video!!

I don’t know why this video made me so emotional, especially the end. This was so moving. 🥺🖤
Oh India’s so much more than that. And so much more beautiful. Happy you acknowledge it❤️
If only I could give this video a thousand likes.... firstly, Shay, you could pass for one of us easily! This portrays my country so amazingly beautifully, it literally brought me to tears with nostalgia! I’m not one to comment on videos but I had to
I was crying at the end...Want to visit India so much!

15:12 Varanasi, city of temples. It has more that 100k temples.... You can see small temples everywhere.... It's one of the oldest city in the world..... Sarnath, a place in Varanasi is the most popular places in Varanasi. It is where Buddha first taught here.
Edit: I forgot yo mention, there are 88 ghats in Varanasi and the most famous one is Assighat meaning 80th ghat.... I recommend you to go their if you ever visited Varanasi....
