I was really disappointed because i really wanted the fire to burn down those locked doors so we could explore outside of the roundtable.. Like in Lyndell you can find the real world round table hold and access areas you couldnt in the lost grace round table.
It’s more likely Godfrey or someone was at round table and recreated it in the capital; but yea it was cool to see it’s counterpart like with the abandoned fire link shrine in dark souls 3
@@andrewohara2146 actually, it's more likely that the real roundtable hold is the one in leyndell and this roundtable hold is inside the erdtree, probably inside marika's mind. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense for the hold to burn. Just like how the real firelink is the one in the untended graves and not the one with the firekeeper.

DO NOT BURN THE TREE UNTIL YOU COMPLETE EVERYTHING IN THE CAPITAL.

I believe you can still explore the capital normally until you defeat the boss of Farum Azula

@@aaaaanotthebees You can, my understanding is that some questlines can't be completed after Forge of the Giants though, and then A LOT can't be completed after Farum Azula.
Mild spoilers, but the only one I messed up was the Goldmask one. He and Corhyn were still in the Capital for me, and after I started burning the Erdtree they vanished (probably because they're Golden Order zealots). I doubt I would have been interested in whatever the Goldmask ending was anyway, so I figured no big deal, but anybody who wants that one should def complete it before getting to the point shown in this video.

The burning doesnt happen until after you kill Malekith.

You burn it, then you come to Farum Azula where you find Malekith.
It’s partially started to burn .. after fire giant most npc in roundtable gone .. I couldn’t upgrade all my summons ..

If I burn tree what exactly do I miss out on .. items, incants, weapons, talismans, quests.. anyone want to throw out what is missed
The only stuff you will miss out on are things you didn't pick up in Lyndell before it gets buried. The only exception it the Subterranean Shunning Grounds, which are left intact. So, I would take my time exploring the Capital and gathering all the hidden items before burning the tree.
It will also make certain quests unable to complete due to NPC changes. If they are a vendor, you'll still be able to obtain their bell bearing to have access to their stock, however you may miss out on quest specific rewards.

She's an optional boss.
She can be killed after you beat the whole game/story.
Shes only required to fight if you're going for a specific ending.. or wanting out of the frenzy ending.

Without spoiling too much is it possible to open the erdtree without burning it? Currently thinking if I can locate and beat all the shardbearers it might be possible? Still attempting to find Praetor Rykard and the rest of the unlocated demigods I just want to save the tree!

Burger haha. You can still upgrade them, roderika just is next to the fireplace where you first met her in the hold

@@GrimzReapr You don't burn it further. The more you progress the story after beating the beast clergyman it'll burn more
@@GrimzReapr after progressing past the boss of the area unlocked after burning the tree, the Lyndell Royal Capital area will be completely buried in ash. Most the city becomes inaccessible.

im pretty sure as long as you finish her quest and put the ring on her finger before you kill the last boss of the game, it doesnt matter wether the erd tree is on fire or not you can still get her ending.
It can bug. I started her a bit after radahn and got to the point where she leaves. Rennis rise never opened and when I went to her next location the long way, her doll item never spawned so her questline died there.
@@slaayerr1 there's a video someone doing the full thing. I'd check the comments there. I started her quest very late and it didn't work when I followed 2 random vids, but then some dud in the comments basically told us where to go at what point. For me Blaidd was just in prison and I had to go from there
@@Bankai90 appreciate the tip but yeah unfortunately I did check a few videos like that and nothing helped. I checked every area any npc could be at that point and all of them were just gone. It just kinda hard locked itself for some reason

nah, its the start of the endgame. if you chose to be the lord of chaos than this cutscene will be completely different though.
The smithy isn't there for me anymore , how can I upgrade my weapons now ?
