It's so rare to hear that little thread of panic and adrenaline in Glock's voice lol I'm loving this and so feel your frustration when you can't just hit something.
"As much as I would love to grab some loot, I don't wanna risk it." immediately followed by looting trash on the ground with zombie noises behind him. 😂👌 Stoked on this new series!
I liked it. I would however add Crawlers to the "Small creature" category ie able to be attacked in melee. Cause yeah kiting them isn't really feasible as they are so slow.
I must say, I really appreciated when you edited the text saying "we" have 53 rounds. Makes it feel like a very inclusive series which everyone is apart of. I honestly really enjoy your gameplay and the amount of effort you put into your videos =) Keep up the awesome work my dude.
Having all the workstations (forge, workbench, cement mixer And the chem station, if lucky enough to get the Beaker) is doable in the first week. I normally have all those plus the motorcycle before the first horde. I've had to challenge myself lately NOT to put points in those skills just to make that first week rush last longer. Snow biome is going to add to the difficulty you've already set yourself. May give that a try myself.
Glock, I'd love to see you do Darkness Falls again since the last series got cut, or should I say triggered, short. Lol. I just started playing DF myself & I'd love to see you do an extended series.
Better yet Glock the builder cant attack. Only build. Huge thick base walls until the zombies lose interest. Traps only for hoard nights. Pure bunker and traps
Since you have a wrench, the absolute easiest way to make money is to scrap vehicles. Once you get the impact driver and you scrapping/bartering skills up, vehicles practically make it rain Dukes. Plus you’ll get the pipes for the blunderbuss.
Just so you know if you do buried supply in the snow area you can just take the snow layer to speed up the circle closure cuzz they count as a block. Will do you justice for quick cash/suplies in this mini series for sure!
Hey Glock, just gotta say that zombies can be lured away with stones. Throw them and they will roll far and the zombie will chase it. Does not work with animals, zombies or live. Perfect for surviving in the snow but caution, they will wander themselves back. I will return! (Note I play only insane nightmare difficulty. So about 5 month of practice has me set for situations. Always willing to put tips if anyone needs them :P)
When you have the buff from drinking anything, you have 15% increased stamina, even from drinking water. Staying hydrated will solve your stamina issues. This can be verified by the in game tutorials
I've started doing exactly the same map and challenge as Glock9. The map seed is "Gunz Only" and it is an 8K map. I started my game with game name "Gunz Only" and it started me 2km away from the (same) trader. By end of day 1, I've purchased a pump shotgun from the trader, and killed a few zombies (with it). With zombies set to Insane difficulty, it is taking approx 3 shots per kill (so those shells run out very quickly indeed).
He mentioned it in one of the last two series, but I have no idea which episode. His general hesitation was that he'd then have to grind for ammo/gun powder and that would be boring for us.
@@matttrottier6358 Someone should give that boy a wrench and tell him to clear houses like the rest of us. There's ton of brass to be had in there (plus you can smelt coins) and with a decent motherlode the rest comes easy with just a bit of time spent. It is feasible.
@@matttrottier6358 Grinding for ammo and materials is akin to grinding the traders i suppose. But it is a survival game, and popping to the shops for ammo every day lessens the immersion a tad. Whatever he chooses to do, i will still watch:]
I know a coop series is very hard to coordinate, but a short pvp against cap00 would be really cool, especially with the Romero mod mixed in. Perhaps one of u is hunter, and the number of days it takes to kill the prey(other player) is the score. Then start new world and switch. The actual footage could probably be captured in 1 to 2 long sessions then u guys could just agree on a release schedule. Would be really cool to be able to see the same events but from each perspective.
try nr 2 on my series idea: do a series as a Cave Hermit. your allowed to use anything that coinsides with nature, so you can make Bows and arrows, crossbows, spears and tools made out of stone. you can use Soil blocks to create or reinforce a cave, but can only light it with Torches or Candles. you can make doors up to lvl 1 iron doors to block off the entrance to a cave OR to build a house INSIDE the cave, but can only upgrade it to stone/cobblestone. you can only use the clothes that you make and armor that you make from natural resources. you can NOT craft OR use vehicles. you can trade with Traders, but only trade for essential resources that you might be low on. you HAVE to make a garden and sustain it and make food from the ingredients you farm. you CAN create a horde base and make traps and other items to hold off the horde after day 14 and onwards. you are allowed to use guns, but not repair them or make them. use till they are broken and that's it. can not carry more than 2 actual guns at any time. you can NOT use any kind of Metal blocks to any other degree than structual integrity of builds and not as protection. try and survive for as long as you can with this challenge, and if you are able to beat my record of days survived, i will gift you 200 USD as a reward. if you cant, then nothing lol. i managed to survive 513 days in this challenge, and i stayed in the same cave the entire time except for on horde nights. *Good luck!*
HAHA that little bit of nervousness and edge in the voice is a rare thing. It's appreciating how easy it is to die in the beginning that makes it so exciting! Good fun. Thumbs up to a new series even if it is a mini one.
Double tap E when opening trader doors. It will open and close them quickly. There's enough time for you to make it in. No more turning around to shut the doors.
I really enjoyed that. sometimes traps are placed in random places and they sometimes slow down zombies. If you don't get the xp then you technically didn't kill it.
Me and my 2 friends generally Mark 0,0 on the map and find a town close to it to start, Rules: No Respawn Loot, No Crafting Guns, Mods, etc, and can not craft Vehicle Parts, We can Combine Vehicle parts found or Bought... No Airdrops, the rest is pretty standard ... you have to Find it or Buy to have it. We can Garden and craft workstations, Since I can make/Find those around the world.
I knew it...right when you said "I haven't seen a bear"...I thought to myself, "Just wait 30 seconds!" Sure enough! Talk about self-fulfilling prophecy, LOL!
hey glock! interesting short-series! the cement mixer at the trader is working. this might help for the hordebase. you can lure the zombies away with throwing stones 😉 this could save your ass.
OF COURSE Glock finds a crucible on day 1 when he won't even have to time to use it 🤣. Man you got so lucky already with the crucible, the cheap AK, finding a beaker already, forge recipe, and sometimes even cooking pots are a bitch to find that quick, sometimes I wind up just crafting my first pot. Then when you went in the garage I saw that workbench and said "well shit his luck is golden so far that damn workbench probably works too"...your luck did not disappoint 🤣
Yo the snow biome is a run killer for sure. I did a horde every night ramblin man and out of like 10 attempts the snow biome killed me probably half the time. Dire wolves and mountain lions for sure were to blame a lot, but it was still a ton of fun. Made it to like day 9 a few times and only used hunting rifles and spears. And the fire Axe a lot, that thing is a beast on medium difficulty Had a silencer and 8x a couple times. It was dope lol I am thinking about going back and playing a15 to get the console experience again and see how I do there with similar rules which also would be Hella cool to see you do +
Actually it's a good challenge to practice on before trying "Undead Legacy" mod. Staying alive till you get your base established w/o killing Z's takes practice, stamena, brains & a wee bit of luck!!
buried treasure missions in snow biomes are actually really quick to do because you can dig out all the snow to make it close the circle quicker (snow takes 1-2 hits to dig up)
Hey glock, I’m sure you have a reason, but in case you’ve never tried, pick up barracks and office chairs and scrap them. An office chair will sell for I think 30, or you can scrap it for 15 leather. And the barracks chairs I’ve never tried selling, but you can scrap them for I believe 30 scrap
And that's why I refuse to play on anything over Warrior difficulty. Those zombies took an average of 5 AK shots to go down, talk about bullet sponges. I was definitely puckered there a few times, props to you Glock for accomplishing so much under extreme pressure. It sure seems like the loot was extremely good for day one, I wonder if it gets boosted with the higher difficulty.
Take stalker or whats it called. Just 1 point will make it so, that zombies stop looking for you after 50 sec, if they cant see you. i always take it early
Man i had hoped for you to do a gun only series on A20 bc of the new scrap firearms that they added. Would have been a cool series that also introduce us into A20 scrap guns system, running parallel with Rambling man series. You doing it now with a 5 days series mean that you’re pretty much stuck with the god awful blunderbusses, while you got an ak i don’t think you’re gonna find much ammo for it this early, so either a lot of mining with the stone axe (which suck), or praying for RNGesus for loot or trader restock (which is unreliable).
Hey Glock, idea for a playthrough: Night Stalker. Only go out at night, specialize in stealth. Love your content. Ever since that one-off episode where you tried to sneak through a POI I've wanted to see you do a full sneaky boi playthrough!
i really love how this series focuses on the snow biom. i literally forgot how fck hard surviving there is. constant hunger, luberjacks, wolfs, mountain lions and bears. so many different treats, its refreshing.
I had a good laugh at the thought of glock peaking out of that hole with only his eyes showing lol. I like the shorter, more difficult series, when every bit of loot matters. That's the fun stuff!
I've always bitched about impossible starts with animals surrounding me before noon on day one and killing me.... but Glock9 has proven within 15 minutes that I just suck 😆 Holy shit man this challenge is fucking insanity.
Very cool idea. I can't believe you didn't find any blunderbusses or ammo. Any other series and you'd have 2 or 3 and 50rnds for them...haha, can't wait for more.

For anyone doubting Glock’s abilities, that farmhouse speed run section was some serious skills! Props to that!
The nightmare day 40 escapade was on another level.
Glock9 got a +20 luck buff after that series.
That part gave me anxiety lol
Like 281 here, that really was impressive.

Damn there's nothing better than those new series feels
So weird, new series are annoying to me because it’s all boring starter stuff.
Glock, I'd love to see you do Darkness Falls again since the last series got cut, or should I say triggered, short. Lol. I just started playing DF myself & I'd love to see you do an extended series.
Yeah me too, I would LOVE to see him play DF again. Such an enjoyable mod!
He should do a “glock the builder” series where he only uses tools to kill zombies😆😆
Battle axe will be OP
@@AidenPerera I would love to see more of the chopity chop😂😂

When doing a dig in the snow just clear off the snow first. it is super easy and fast to dig. it narrows the treasure search radius down super fast.

Maybe cause he’s getting over a cold 😂😂😂
you can actually craft gunpowder with nitrate and coal! not as efficient as a chem station but doable early game!
I would strongly recommend using that wrench you got to take some things apart if for no other reason than to have more stuff to sell.
Not gonna lie, This series will have me on the edge of my seat for the whole thing
Hell yeah! New series! Glock9 swingin his huge junk around! What's not to love! Let's kill!!!

You can throw stones to distract zombies. I've actually got a zombie to attack a wolf before leading it with 2 stones.
you should use rocks to throw and distract the zombies, works really good if you need to be sneaky.

This is one of the best series on his channel too bad it’s not a full series
Good start with high tension because of the challenge. Interesting change of style for you.
I'm level 80 something and just found my snow biome. this place is no joke, it would so suck for me if I started there
Lions, and wolves, and bear oh my lol
still not bad to put your hands on an ak and a workbench on day 1! you'll be efficient in no time at this pace
I like this as well never heard Glock get that nervous LoL 😂
Ahhhh I want alpha 20 to come already you should definitely have your base in the snow biome
