It's so nice to have a video where everything is moving at a slow, quiet, attentive pace. It's great not to have someone yelling into the camera. I feel at peace watching this.
Man, I just love your passion. Sometimes when I go out I feel exactly the same as you appear to feel. It’s a feeling in the gut. You click away, most of which are rubbish when you get home, but at the time through the viewfinder you think this is ‘the one’, the great image you’re always looking for. Not for any recognition you’ll get because of it but just for the intense pleasure that taking what you personally feel is good photograph gives you. When you get home you invariably find at least one that gives that pleasure able kick. I swear it’s a drug.
When people used to ask me why I take pictures of clumps of grass, old fence posts, etc. I couldn't give an answer, but recently I realized that I actually enjoy taking photographs. Yes, I sometimes use post processing to see what happens, but my main enjoyment is seeing a composition, framing the shot and pressing the shutter. I don't care whether anybody sees what I saw, as you say, it's a gut feeling.
Well, what an absolute gem of a video. Thank you so much. I thought it was another damp and grey day in the English countryside until the surprise "Se vende" sign. I love how you say "I woke up to these beautiful conditions." A lovely attitude to a murky day! And how you incorporate power lines and fences into your images - I would normally grumble about them and try to get round them, but now I can see them afresh. By opening your eyes and mind and heart, and by slowing down, you turned a very ordinary landscape into beautiful art.
Great vid. Great 'simple' yet full of character photos. Shooting in bad weather should be done by all.Far more interesting than shots gotten when it's nice a sunny and your subjects are well lit. Bravo. Subbed.
At 11:40 you refrain from taking a shot that you wish to take, because there are obstacles in front of you. Here's an idea that may help you out. Put your camera on a monopod to extend your reach. Then you can place the camera in front of, or above the obstacles to get your shot.
Thank you for returning for the video camera. Yesterday, I was desperately looking for a new place to visit. It is the bank holiday weekend so I ruled out the tourist honey post locations. I ended up returning to a local beauty spot I've visited many times. I surprised myself to find several pleasing novel images. Your videos have inspired and encouraged me to go out regardless of the lighting and weather. Thank you. (p.s. I have emailed you)
This video made me follow you!, Sometimes we are looking so hard for the picture than we end up getting none.
I just stumbled across this video and was captivated from the start. You’ve inspired me to get out and about with my camera again and I look forward to more content to watch!
Hi! I just discovered you and I love your style and approach. Successful photos but with a very relaxed and honest approach. Looking forward to subscribing!
Hi Adrian, I have not been here for some time but so happy I did come back. I thoroughly enjoy your films, you’re showing the usual, daily struggle of some of us with finding subjects, something interesting in surrounding environment. It’s a motivation and inspiration for sure. The last image you showed was again textured background - was it a print? I am really curious how you approach printing, how do you print, what paper do you chose, how big, etc… I recall seeing your video on this but I was wondering how it looks like right now. Thanks and all the best!
Hey, Adrian, love your videos and your photograph. Would you make a video on printing and framing? I'd think theres a lot to explore on the postpartum of photography...
I am pretty sure that this is Central Portugal. I was watching lately a real estate agent showing rural properties for sale in Portugal, with ruins. All of them have olive trees, old wells, water tanks, a sign "Se Vende"..interesting.Most of not all of these properties are abandoned since a generation or two. The land is cheap too..while watching these properties in TH-cam, one thing came to my mind, what a beautiful place to do this type of landscape minimalist photography. Today I cam across this photographer, Aows, and found that we get inspired by the same photographer, Michael Kenna, that inspires me too..Hmmm!? Interesting, what a nice coincidence.
I commend you on your endeavors to capture that perfect foggy photo. I noticed that you are shooting most if not all your photos though very well composed - in B&W.. AT 11:30 you composed yet another spectacular photo, if I may say something about that? Because of the suddle pastel colors the fog has rendered upon the color content of the side of the shed, I would have left the shot in color,

Good time to take photos. I love fog in the photos which make it more mysterious

Yeah, same here. When I click it’s a gem, when I see it at home it’s more like ‘what was I thinkining?’… LoL

Getting lost in the process and enjoying it for its own sake, in the moment.
Beautiful photos and I enjoyed the video too. Thank you for sharing!

@2:52 the fence and the tree in background, was a good cliché too!
Don’t blame the cows for perspective challenges 😀. Cool shots; fog and mist add timeless quality to images.
The cure for the cows is a small wooden crate carried everywhere to get a higher perspective.

Hi Aows, just came across your vid. This is amazing and I hope you will capture every magic of life with photography.
Thank you for returning for the video camera.

Qué maravilla de video. Qué maravilla de fotos. Qué maravilla de audio. Gracias.
Always a pleasure when you post another video! Thanks!
I follow many photographers on YT, but the images I love the most are from your channel, I need to purchase some prints and put them in my office.
Beautiful photographs. Lyrical.
Your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It’s pure and the images are great.
I just stumbled across this video and was captivated from the start. You’ve inspired me to get out and about with my camera again and I look forward to more content to watch!
Like the fog. Like your channel. Can you walk around on farms and ranches? Where I live you can not cross fences, all property is private.

Thank you
Thank you for another inspiring video.
I want more fog when I go out filming.
Cool demonstrational video by the way.

Gosto muito de seu canal, sempre inspirador
Thanks to you Adrian 🙏😊
Thanks for the advice!

Adrian, "We are our own worst critics." As usual though, you did an amazing job. All were great, but my favourite- That "Fat Sheep" :-)
Very 👍 shots. This area must be somewhere in central Portugal or in Spain. Isn't it? Good job.

Your photos look like some i would take, very nice. We seem to have similar perspectives. I'm curious what camera(s) you used here, thank you~
Hi. Great video. Question, @5:35, you photo include half of a trunk, that has always being my intrigue, half, full or nothing.
Mananas asi me recuerdan tus Ziguenas 😁👍
thank you again for the beautiful source of inspiration video. What to you think about blue filter on the fog (analog) photography ?
Color filters only work on BW Film
He didn't use one

At 12:30, you should pick up that paper!
Nice. Do you still photo only B&W?
Cách hát của đức phúc luôn làm hài lòng tất cả mn.
