Thank you sooo much. I couldn't get the top off because there was still a screw somewhere. So I peeled off the sticker, only to find no screws. Then I watched this video and was mind-blown that there were screws behind what looked like solid plastic
I don’t have this issue, even though I watched your video to see the rubber band mechanism in it. Finally you showed that thank you so much… Subscribed your channel…
What he did was he loosened his cords up to where they have play so that way it’s not adding a lot of tension onto the cords so what he did was put a zip tie between the bracket and the cords to hold them up so they’re not shorting out because that’s mostly what his problem was was his cords was shorting out and that’s what it called the disconnection
Going to try to do the same to mine after i finished fighting with the damn worn off screws mine had. Hoepfully it works for me too but regardless of that thanks for the video. (Mines having problems where its centered perfectly while im playing F1 then suddenly it starts to steer to the right without me doing so)
Thanks man, mine has some small issues like noises and also got probles when going to the max degree, it jumps in the driver. Anyways good video, this video is compatible with T80 too, normal and ferrari edition.
I have a racing wheel but i have three wires cut and i need to soldering it but i didn't know where his places in circuit board you can help me ? I can send tou the picture of the board and you tell me where i connect it the wire is belong to the potentiometer in the wheel
Hello, my T80 ferrari 488 gtb edition seems to steer by itself towards the left. It's like sometimes someone suddenly steer to the left. It's not constant. What should i look for? And btw, Whats the software you are using to test the wheel?
Try to do the same thing, but if there's a different model you have adapt. I was in Control Panel in Windows, you can use any laptop with Windows for testing. That also works for almost any steering wheel or controller
Hi, I just bought a T300RS second hand but almost new (3 months old) and this is the only video that shows almost the same issue that I have. Mine is not as sensitive but also centers off when I turn the wheel, and as it has 1080 degrees turning radius it is a real pain in the a**. Do you have any idea what could be the issue? I have already opened it up but everything looks and sounds normal.
@@DR_OF_SHADOWS Ok, well first, check if the bracket on the back of the electric motor that holds the small board with the Hall sensor is not broken. Then check if the board with the Hall sensor sits parallel to the motor/bracket. Mine didnt, so I unscrewed the 2 bolts holding the board on that bracket and also took off the bracket from the motor. Grinded the side of the bracket that was lifting the board until the board was completely parallel to the brackt and thats it. That solved the issue for me. Now the Hall sensor is closer to the motor and doesnt lose connection to the motor's position. If you need pictures to better understand what I mean, let me know.
My wheel seems to make small little movements to the left and right while turning but works well most of the time will doing what you did help with that??
I have a problem where there is a 30° dead zone in the middle where the steering does nothing in the game. I opened it but the mechanical parts seem to be in good condition. Any ideas?
@@spinningourgears2171 no I didn't manage to. When I opened it up I first realised how cheaply made the whole thing is and then saw that the sensors seems to be working fine. It's probably a software error
Hello sir i have one question does the elastic part that is tied on the wheel break at some point? because i open the wheel today and noticed it has torn a bit
I have a problem and maybe you can help me. I got this steering wheel used but it didn't come with the pedals and I've been thinking about adapting others I have. The thing is that I have no idea how the potentiometers are wired and I thought if it were possible that since you've opened it you could tell me how the cables are connected or someone who can pass me a diagram. I would really appreciate it.
My old steering wheel (actually my cousins but now its mine) sat in mud for like a year in my uncle's house, which got flooded and he moved out with his wife(he still owned the house) They divorced and he moved back in the house and remembered he had his sons steering wheel in the basement so he gave it to me and i fixed it all by myself(kinda)

I'm glad it helped
Hi, how many millimeters is the elastic band?
I have the same wheel. Removed the cord 2 weeks ago. It's around 20-30cm. Do you need exact measure?
@@JohnDoe-ex8gf hello thanks for answering I don't need the length just the circumference or thickness

Check if you can calibrate the sensitivity in game. I also suggest to try in Windows on a Laptop or PC, good luck 🍀

There must be a contact problem inside the cylinder, have you tried what is in the video?
yo sorry to revive after a year but did you end up finding a solution

At a point it will break, however, I think that would take hundreds, maybe thousands of hours of gameplay

Yes, you can try that

does it work for t80 488

hi is it possible to make the wheel turn all the way to any side like t150 ?
I don’t think so 🤔
I bought a t80 snd when I plugged it in and started a game turning right works but turning left won't work any ideas how to fix
There are multiple possible issues. Did you buy it as new? Have you installed the driver?
@@YesterdaysTech second hand as I needed the clamp of the wheel.
Make sure the driver is properly installed, otherwise try what is shown in the video.
Can you reduce the stiffness? Ore remove it ?
Yes, replacing the elastic cord with a less strong cord

Is there any way to turn this steering wheel to 360°??

What game is it for?
I think it is an in game setting
Depending on the game
My wheel doesn’t wanna turn my car in game

Does anyone know the pedals connector pinout? And how it works? I have the wheel, but no pedals. I want to connect another pedal set.
