I'd like to know what gear you where using especially the amp and the first guitar. Because a Montgomery Airline (like Jack uses a lot) is hard to find and way too expensive, especially when you're lefthanded like me. And I'd say there is no White Stripes sound without a Fender Dual Reverb amp.

Jack always says that he lets the music tell him what to do. Whilst other guitarists might try and over complicate things he keeps it simple yet very effective.
I am a big Jack White fan. can't believe I only just saw this. I got a fuzz pedal the other day and after watching this video I put on reverb with it. AWSOME sound!

I have watched some videos before about Jack White's techniques but those aren't so good. This video is a very professional and complete one. Shows everything that I could ask for, and does it in a perfect way. It gives us an introspection about why he is a soo good and original musician. I really love Jack White and I have been following his work by now for ages, but this video just leaves me more impressed than ever about him. You still need one important pedal that jack doesn’t give up on it in any project he’s in...the mxr micro amp, Got the chance to see his stage rig twice...i use it and now i m getting 90% of jack’s guitar sound💪🏻
At 11:46 when you're talking about seven nation army's 'bass' line, in studio it was actually the same as on stage, he never used a bass for this album and music, he just used a special guitar that i don't know the exact name and just an octave lower as you say
Nicely done. Btw. Jacks earlier crazy ass fuzz tone (on elephant) comes especially from the fender twin reverb amps which kinda overreact with the big muff ^^ you can emulate that also with a "twin twelve" overdrive pedal after the muff. :D
Also you forgot the stutter he does which is the hardest thing, he does stabby upward picks really fast, its very percussive, it’s a combo of the pick and a slap almost, it’s tricky but super rad once gotten the hang of.
12:40 Kurt DEFINITELY uses the sus4 in Teen Spirit. You can hear it plain as day. The reason there's even debate is because player's don't want to admit they've been playing it wrong for years. And finally Rick Beato states he uses the sus4 on the Teen Spirit main rhythm. And when someone with an ear like Beato says the 4th is in there- it's friggin in there. Cheers P[>
Great video, wish I could see more about how he use the MXR Micro AMP (you mention the fuzz in fuzz, I think is the MICRO+BIG MUFF) and his awesome picking and muting at the same time technique (I think that sometime it get mix with the kill switch). Regards!
This was fun and interesting! I have been thinking about buying a whammy pedal because I screwed down the horrible Accutune trem, with locking nut system, on my '80s Dean and it is the only guitar that I have that has (had) a whammy. I wasn't even thinking of other fun things that could be done with it, so thanks. Ha ha. I am going to move it up on my purchase list. 👍✨
