I see these questions asked previously, but don't see any answers. Should this recipe be fed raw or cooked, and if cooked how so? How do I determine the proper portion of the recipe for 22 and 27 pound dogs? Please give answers!
If you have a dog or cat with kidney disease, please consider Just Food For Dogs custom Rx diet. I have it already for my cat, ad he's doing great. He went from stage 2 to stage 1. Every ingredient must be weighed in grams and you must add the vitamin mix that you purchase from JFFD. I only came to this video to see what ingredients I should consider for my dog that was just diagnosed with stage 1 CKD. I can tell you this from my research, that sweet potatoes and seafood are not a low phosphorus foods.
Thank you for filming this important information! My pup just a yr old 5 pounds now a Biewer Terrier was exposed to mold. I have the highest mycotoxins my Dr has seen with 3 different molds one Black mold my immune system is extremely compromised & I am very concerned about my lil boy. Do you have a detox protocol for him?🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
My dog had cysteine stones…something NOONE EVER TALKS ABOUT…it’s the most rare type of stone and so very hard to learn about…I’d really appreciate it If you could cover this topic…please😊
Thank you, Dr. Morgan! Our cardiologist gave us a scare regarding potassium rich foods while on spironolactone. How careful do I need to be with certain vegetables/proteins being high in K? I also give dandelion leaf/root which i also read is potassium sparing. Can I keep supplementing that alongside spironolactone? Her kidney values are still in the normal range but is slowly creeping up to the higher end of normal. Thank you so much for your help ❤ We love you so much!
You can gently cook at 325. Depending on how this the food is in whatever size pan you are using will determine how long you need to cook it for. You do not want it overdone. It should still have some raw meat and juice to it.
I’m confused, sorry. When weight sweet potatoes is after been baked? What about the chicken you weight after baking it ? I know vegetables are raw I got those 😬😬😬 I’m just tying to help my dog but I’m really bad on reading recipes they are so confusing to me. Help !,
I fed my dog this recipe today after him being on the hills renal diet and it seems like he got worse today? is it because his body needs to adjust? he seems very nauseous and more lethargic than usual
Most all food changes should be a transition to let their gut adjust to something so different from their usual. Do a mixture for 10 days before completely switching over.
But don't the lamb kidneys like and organ have a lot of phosphorus? That's why I don't understand why prescription kidney Diet "Kidney Care' has liver.
What a wonderful human being. Thank God for you. Learning so much knowledge is power to help our four legged family friends❤❤❤❤
It’s very easy to do this. I even went on vacation and just put everything in containers for travel then in a cooler.
Thank you for the recipe Dr. Judy 😋🐶
