Just entered these ingredients into chronometer and it contains 924 calories. The basal metabolic rate for a lightly active dog weighing 50lbs is 1200 calories. That being said, this is not enough calories to support a 50 lb dog, and more to the point, this meals macronutrient profile is as follows: 479 calories of protein making up 52% (not low protein) and a phosphorous load of (2,136 mg), putting it at 305% over the daily recommended daily intake, far from being low in that regard. Either I'm confused or your going to need alot of phosphate binder to reduce all that phosphorous. Please, someone enlighten me if I am wrong!

You didn't explain what the oysters are for?
Also, sardines in water would be a better choice than oil that contains inflammatory Omega 6 ??
I find my dog is doing well on fish also....I am feeding mackerel.
I also give fresh papaya for the digestive enzymes, all of my dogs love papaya ...you'd think it was steak!
I've read that kale removes toxins from the colon. Also read that curly parsley cleans the blood.
I use fresh ginger or make a tea out of it as well. Also give kefir. And I monitor my dogs breath, when it smells bad I give him activated charcoal, I swear this is making a huge difference in keeping his appetite!
Of course not too close to feeding time or it will absorb all their nutrients.
And last, I read not to give the water that veggies are cooked in because of the phosphorus?
Many different thoughts on this issue.

2 to 3% of body weight depending on activity level and size. Small dogs are closer to 3% while large dogs will be around 2%.
