Shanghai-Nyalam Highway, is an ordinary highway in China and one of the horizontal lines of China's national road network. The number is G318. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride from Shigatse to Lhasa. Beautiful landscape all along. I observed during the second half of the trip the amount of new elevated roads being constructed along side the existing road. I assume the new road is a replacement upgrade to the existing China National Highway G318. It is a very impressive new road construction. THANK YOU.

People exaggerate on tibets’s climate and geology…..theres more unique plants and trees than whole world…..some mountains r lush green some r nude with no plant some r coverned in snow….

On peut dire que les chinois ne se compliquent pas la vie pour construire une autoroute : il faut savoir s’affranchir de la configuration du terrain, ça s’appelle viaducs et tunnels (certainement même si je n’ai pas vu de ces derniers) .
