    Nice to see the vehicle being used for what it was made for... all be it soft off roading...

      Yes very true there are a few lanes a little more challenging, but generally just green landing!
      Will be hopefully some better videos once have moved to Mallorca, has some tricky mountain lanes👍

    That p38 is too good for green laning now, future classic especially in that colour and spec, the values are really on the rise.

    Watch those valves. If they get any dirt in them they tend to not work. It's also easy to unscrew the adjustment end and mess up the setting. The P38 is the best.

    Hi pal
    I have a 1994 p38 4.6 v8 HSE
    Currently has the standard EAS
    What setup did you get to lift the body? Id like to do the same but keep the air ride aswel
    I only paid £600 for it as the previous owner thought the ecu was fried but it turned out to be a few corroded wires and bad earths 😂 actually in pretty good condition for the year
    Black in colour with grey leather, has an log conversion which works perfectly aswel

      Hi
      Sounds like a great deal😀👍
      I have been trying to copy my 2inch lift kit which I got from Australia, at the minute having problems getting the right company to do it!
      I have done video called “Air vs Spring” explaining the lift kit!
      Will let you know when have kit available.

    When you have your snorkel made, what do you do with the BECM which is under the drivers seat?

    • @all4x451
      @all4x451  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Chris
      Thank you for your message!
      The snorkel doesn’t affect the BECM and the MAF sensor is still operational, it’s just an extension of the air intake👍

      @@all4x451 Thanks for your response. I'm sorry, I phrased my question badly. What I meant to ask is why have a snorkel which allows the engine to run in or under the water when the BECM is below the drivers seat. I mean isn't it going to drown long before the engine requires a snorkel.

    • @all4x451
      @all4x451  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Chris
      That is true if you are in a deep crossing for too long, or the door seals are not very good😀
      To date no water has entered the car although I also have extra lift with air suspension which helps!
      Cheers

      On the road I inflate to around 30 psi, still a bit like riding on jelly but seems to wear tread evenly👍

      @@datnguyen478 Hi Dat
      They are Arnott air bags but standard fittment, I run at standard ride hight unless need to change for extra clearance, or lower for of camber!
      I have a 2inch lift kit especially designed for the P38 form Australia, I am trying to replicate as kit was last one!
