    In Great Britain my go-to source of models is El Greco Miniatures. They have 1000's of figures and busts etc., of all scales, from a very large selection of manufacturers. Their points system is very generous too. The more you spend then the more you can save on later orders.

    My partner loves Dark Crystal and Labyrinth and I've been looking for something meaningful to get her and paint her so that's absolutely perfect. Thank you so much Scott, your channel has done so much for me. I started hobbying again for the first time since I was 14 at the start of the year and your videos have made sense of all the painting techniques I learnt to do without TH-cam videos and explained how to do them properly. Hurrah! As a non GW game-player it can get a bit depressing wading through wall to wall content regarding the latest GW hotness etc. so it's great to see you spreading the word again about mini-life outside the GW-iverse. I'd also recommend Big Child Creatives, Black Sun Miniatures, Nekko Galaxy, and Bold Miniatures.

    If interested, the Ninja Lady stems from a Weird War 2 / Dieselpunk 32mm scale Tabletop Wargame called Dust 1947 which I can only wholeheartedly recommend. Very cool fluff, great visuals and very Player friendly Rules.
    btw, the Model you gave Vince and he painted so amazingly is from the same game but different faction.

    As someone who mostly cares about 28/32mm scale for D&D purposes, I'm SO glad to see you recommend Red-Box-Games! I fell in love with Tre Manor's sculpts for Reaper, and when I discovered I could buy more directly from him, I was obviously very excited. As a novice painter, they were some of the first metal figures I've acquired. They were actually a bit smaller than anticipated, but still the detail is at a really nice and not TOO intimidating level. The clothes they wear, their poses and the "story" they all seem to be a part of, it all REALLY fits into the aesthetic I imagine my D&D games to have.

    • @Jeronimus
      @Jeronimus 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Some of my other favorite incredible D&D-scaled figures are from the relatively well-known Darksword Miniatures and Hasslefree Miniatures, which are both mostly metal. Westfalia and Zealot Miniatures are both using the sculpting talents of Boris Woloszyn, who may be my favorite sculptor right now. I recently received my rewards for a Westfalia Kickstarter and the crispy detail on those sculpts is truly stunning.

I am enjoying watching your videos, I am a bit tired of you screeching at the end of your video but I realize that you have a “brand” to be loyal to, hummm ah well you are doing well enough without my input. For busts, I'd strongly recommend Nuts Planet, Ares Mythologic, and Scale75. Brilliant sculpting and casting.
    For smaller scale stuff, Dark Sword (amazing sculpting and casting), Oathsworn, Northumbrian Tin Soldier, and Midlam.

    8:38 I love Tre's stuff, but be careful with the weapon hafts, they can be fiddly AF, not just sexy AF. He has released some resin models too but the meal ones are better in my opinion. I've got a HelsVakt horde of about 85 models all painted up and just hoping he'll make some more. Good shout out! Also if you like Red Box Games stuff then Hasslefree Minis in the UK (Kev White) will be right up your street too. They are still your 28/32mm type scales but cover all sorts of sci fi / fantasy / pop culture genres.

    "Winter Soldier" and the "Ninja lady" are actually inspired by Winter Child and Shadow of Death from Dust 1947 by Paolo Parente
