@@carswithluke Building on this, after 8.000km on my 992 GTS I am actually wondering if it is not just too much of a car for a daily drive. On public roads is almost impossible to go full throttle.
I was contemplating the option to trade it in for a 992 T but with the recent sharp price increase on all 911 models, I rather keep enjoying my 992 GTS for another couple of years.

@@slimigan I know it might sound bizzarre but coming from a 991.2 S (65,000km on the clock), I was feeling more connected to it.
On a daily drive the extra weight of the breaking system of the GTS is quite remarkable and full throttle on public roads is very rare.
I would probably be able to do 95% of the things I do with the 992 GTS “just” with the 992 T.
I speced my 992 GTS exactly how I wanted it and waited 9 months to collect it but after 6 months of ownership my doubts are still there. It would be nice to test a 992 T but nowadays there are zero chance of doing it.

Thanks and yes it got expensive for a mid entry 911 these days, to the point where you say you might as well just spend more and get a gt3 😃

Beautiful car, but never understood why Porsche always added stickers to their cars, would be so much nicer without...

They are actually an option when you spec a car but for me also I would go without.

Very nice, enjoyable review! 🤩 🎉 Can you imagine how fantastic the driving experience with such fun vehicles would be running on synthetic, CO2 neutral fuels? Why don't we do that? Why do we somehow want to kill these pleasures by trading them in for electric propulsion? For your daily driver, yes please, but for fun cars and classic cars with c.e. engines.....? 🤔

Luke, my man, you need a gimbal. Handheld footage is hard to watch. A small sensor but stabilized is much nicer than large sensor but jerky.

It’s actually normally fine but I forgot my small bendy tripod so the camera was sitting directly in my had hence the more shake. Can happen 🤷‍♂️

Such a good watch, I absolutely love that colour, it might be because green's my favourite though. ^^ To be fair I never thought about Carreras as a good kind of 911 but from what I've seen so far I think the 992 Carrera T is actually a pretty solid "entry ticket" to the 911 family. Seems very subtle, tame, daily drivable but still kinda maintains the 911 character.
I'm not a fan of your intros recently as I'm missing the usual build up but let's say you made up for it with some real nice camera angles such as the left side one or the one with the spoiler in it. I definitely wouldn't mind some more driving though.

As someone who’s owned a previous generation C2S, and having driven a 991 CARRERA T for a 3 week period, I would have been happy to keep the T.. despite the obvious drop in power. The immediacy of the throttle inputs exposed the almost imperceptible turbo lag in the S model. It ain’t slow by any measure. Ps. I have one on order

Amazing car but 180k is just too much, just seen a 991.1 turbo s for 100k with 70‘000km, seems much more reasonable for me imo 😅
