Came for the 9000rpm glorious sound of the GT3 and stayed for the ASMR of the coffee shop.
That coffee shop asmr is always amazing. I feel sorry for ppl who don't experience asmr. They think it's weird or stupid. They'll never know how relaxing it is.

Literally just came back from Chamonix France and back through Geneva to return to the UK today. This makes me feel very happy. WIll definitely be leaving the UK to live a Mountain lifestyle. Skiing was awesome too.

My dream car doesn't exist. That would be a mid-engined version of this with a 5 liter flat 12. Essentially a road-going 917. And with a wooden shift knob.

My dad, has a 2003 911 carera and it's always a treat driving it! Manual of course.
Luke this is stunning work to watch and enjoy that 992 GT3 T sound. Great video as always.But I must say one thing I hope to see more videos with your own cars. Channel really miss that, I've been following you since early A1 videos. As much as we all love this drives and everything I hope we will see much more of your project cars.

if i'm not mistaken the reason for removing the aluminum from the gear lever is that when the car is under the sun the metal gets very hot to the point that you can't touch the gear. I think that was the engineering choice.
Not so. It gets hotter. It was purely done to save money. The biggest let-down with my Touring is the lack of quality. Door and interior rattle galore. Poor paint quality. Loads of people who have issues with cracking glass etc. For me it will not be a keeper.

I've always driven manual since my dad had to drive my first car home for me, and I could practice in the neighborhood till I got it right, lol My dad never had a manual, but he knew how to drive one since he and a friend took his friends dad's Model T for a spin at 14 years old, lol

Awesome video Luke, huge thanks! One thing though, te aluminium colored top of the gear lever in the 991.2 is actually plastic 🙄. Mine rattled a bit when I bought the car last year and a few months ago it came off completely. You can’t change just that piece, you need a complete gear lever including the leather cover. I hope the new one is better and less wasted material if it comes loose.

My actual dream car, nothing else comes close to the GT3 Touring for its usability as a performance road car. And that colour looks green rather than grey in certain light. I also would be addictive to both the coffee and the run in that epic car. Great video Luke

To answer your question...nope, it does not get any better than this. An absolute Dream!!! Also congrats to 200k, if I am not mistaken I recall days below 100k. The cinematic intro deserves at least another 100k. Weiter so.
