This is an After Action Report using the Battlegroup rules with the Barbarossa supplement.
Summer 1941 Ukraine as a German battlegroup clashes with a Soviet battlegroup for a bridge.

Thanks! BG presents the possibility of random events on the battlefield that I have not seen in other games. The Beyond the Call of Duty is an example.

Also BG is not a tournament set of rules. It plays differently from Flames.

Remember if a unit gets "Beyond the Call of Duty" it automatically loses its pinned status. [p47 Rule book] Pinned units that are subject to another pinning result do not take a morale check so are not eliminated.
