    Are you aware of any way to connect this mic to a Canon DSLR; enabling it to capture video and audio synced?
    If not, is there a reasonable workaround which doesn’t require extensive familiarity with editing?

    • @rodemic

      Unfortunately not, the NT1 5th Gen is a studio condenser microphone that requires phantom power in order to work. Camera's are not capable of providing this level of power. We would recommend recording the audio separately and syncing it with the video with post.

      Hey there @RemedyJLock, we're sorry to hear that you're finding it hard to use your NT1 with Audacity. So the stand didn't come with my Mic and basically, you NEEED a stand if you dont want you USB wire to be bent. The least the company could've done was give me a stand, I literally paid 250 dollars for this and I can't even use the mic properly.

    • @glennblnco
      @glennblnco 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      You need a dose of reality. You got what you paid for - a microphone. How you use a microphone properly is not their fault, but yours alone. I can imagine the shock on your face when you find out there are far more expensive mics that DO NOT come with stands or arms, nor do they come with XLR cables.
      Next time, do your research before deciding so you manage your expectations.
